On one hand I can see his disgust with the offense. Take away the 3 drives that started inside Giants territory (12 yd line, 14 yd line, 49 yard line) and the game is 17-11 Rams, very similar to last year. On the other hand, they took advantage of the opportunities our defense gave them. With the win, we are one of six teams in the NFC with less than 3 losses. To have a 2 game cushion after 6 weeks is pretty good. Now they have to clean up some stuff and catch Arizona for the division lead. I watched a good deal of the Arz/Cleve game and they are good but certainly beatable. Cleveland, like SF, contained Murray with their rush (6 yards on 7 attempts; albeit 2 or 3 were fumbled snaps). Let's see where things stand at the end of November. I think we'll be in a better position IMHO. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. I watched a good deal of the Arz/Cleve game and they are good but certainly beatable. Cleveland, like SF, contained Murray with their rush (6 yards on 7 attempts; albeit 2 or 3 were fumbled snaps). Let's see where things stand at the end of November. I think we'll be in a better position IMHO.Definitely becoming a haves and have-nots situation in the NFC. 1 by Elvis 3 years 2 months ago Total posts: 40095 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: Week 6: RAMS @ GIANTS GAME THREAD; POST #85 TOPIC AUTHOR RFU Season Ticket Holder by Elvis 3 years 2 months ago Total posts: 40095 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Week 6: RAMS @ GIANTS GAME THREAD; POST #86 TOPIC AUTHOR (Hard to read) snap counts:Percent of playtime per player on offense, defense and special teams (Unofficial)Offense Defense Special TeamsA Corbett G 66 100% 6 22%B Allen C 66 100% 6 22%D Edwards G 66 100% 6 22%R Havenstein T 66 100% 6 22%T Higbee TE 66 100% 6 22%R Woods WR 58 88% 1 4%M Stafford QB 56 85%C Kupp WR 55 83% 2 7%D Henderson RB 54 82%A Whitworth T 47 71%V Jefferson WR 42 64% 1 4%J Noteboom T 19 29% 6 22%D Jackson WR 16 24%S Michel RB 12 18%B Skowronek WR 11 17% 18 67%J Wolford QB 10 15%T Atwell WR 7 11% 5 19%J Harris TE 6 9% 18 67%J Mundt TE 3 5% 8 30%R Rochell CB 71 95%D Deayon CB 66 88%J Fuller SS 65 87%T Rapp FS 64 85% 6 22%J Ramsey CB 57 76% 3 11%T Lewis LB 51 68%A Donald DT 45 60%K Young LB 42 56%S Joseph NT 42 56%L Floyd LB 38 51%N Scott SS 33 44% 21 78%O Okoronkwo LB 32 43% 3 11%G Gaines NT 32 43% 3 11%M Hoecht DT 27 36% 14 52%E Jones LB 26 35% 15 56%J Williams DE 26 35% 3 11%T Reeder LB 22 29% 21 78%J Jones LB 22 29% 19 70%D Long CB 20 27% 2 7%A Robinson DT 14 19% 2 7%T Howard LB 10 13% 21 78%J Hughes FS 10 13% 11 41%T Burgess FS 9 12% 18 67% RFU Season Ticket Holder by /zn/ 3 years 2 months ago Total posts: 6880 Joined: Jun 28 2015 Maine Hall of Fame Week 6: RAMS @ GIANTS GAME THREAD; POST #87 One thing about this game that could have real ramifications going forward is that Noteboom played 19 snaps at LOT. On one hand I can see his disgust with the offense. Take away the 3 drives that started inside Giants territory (12 yd line, 14 yd line, 49 yard line) and the game is 17-11 Rams, very similar to last year. On the other hand, they took advantage of the opportunities our defense gave them.My takeaway was how key it was that the Rams played well in the Red Zone. Had they kicked FGs in those situations (as has happened in the past at times), they could have entered the half only up 16-3, which would have given the Giants hope of making it a game in the second half.
