Dunno.
But the guys I've known on RRF/ROD, the good guys from St Louis who have stuck with the team? They deserve better than this.

Agreed, I think it really sucks for St Louis.. Not having lived in the States when they left LA, I don't really know how that went, but I can't help but feel for those people who may have their team ripped from them. I feel for the LA fans who had to go through it 20 years ago.

No doubt. But we LA fans didn't deserve what we got 20 years ago. And for those of us who have supported them all this time - we will hopefully reap the rewards.

Dont misunderstand, I am totally in LA corner and have the utmost respect for the LA based guys/gals that stuck with them. Furthermore, I have found some St Louis based fans to be disprectful towards LA fans. Its highly reminiscent of a good friend of mine. He and his wife got divorced, and she took him to the cleaners. She got the house, the alimony and the kids. Well, I respect the hell out of this guy because he shows up at every event his kids are in. He always comes alone while his ex wife shows up with her dude. She rubs it in my buddies face but he sits there and takes it because he loves his kids and wont be without them.....

No turning back now. The NFL will have a PR nightmare if they make the Rams go back. 100% certain Stan is going rogue if he has to. He could never lose in court. Welcome home LA Rams!

They were F'd by their political leadership who signed-on to a lease that they didn't keep. And when given 12yrs to rectify the situation, they double talked, stalled, and corrupted the process. Those people are the victims of old time rust belt politicians who are so crooked it's hard for the public to even comprehend the deceipt.

That's where I'm coming from. I haven't trashed the fans at all and do sympathize. But anyone who took the time to look at what St. Louis did to get the Rams knew it wasn't exactly on the up and up.

St. Louis fans shouldn't be blaming Kroenke, LA fans, Shaw or anyone else. It's their local government that has, once again, screwed up dealings with an NFL team/expansion.

I dont mean to leave anyone out because there's been plenty of LA support getting a smack in the face immediately, but 2 posters I think of are you and Altitude
For years you guys would post stuff about possible move back and would get slammed so hard. And remarkably, neither one of you ever turned around and fought fire with fire. Allowed the name calling, and went about your business. I mean this with the utmost sincerity, the stuff you guys posted and the class in wich you did really had an unbiased chap like me lean towards LA a long time ago.
Especially you Mokler because you're normally a real a-hole when you debate. Haha, just kidding

He may not get Los Angeles, then again, he might. But there's no way he goes back to St Louis

Can't disagree. I'm loving it on one hand but really do feel for the St. Louis folks who are getting crapped on in the process. Son_Dee tweeted some pretty moving stuff last night.

That said, there have been guys on other boards who were telling us that really there was just one guy in the RSA that rubbed Kroenke the wrong way, that "people in the know" knew this stuff. And that RSA guy isn't there anymore so Kroenke would now play ball.

I wonder what they think now? What are the "people in the know" saying?

I'd go back and ask but seems like it would be in poor taste, even for me...

StL fans were lied to by the politicians, their own sports media, and the so-called online or forum leaders/administrators. They conspired to keep the local fans uniformed about what was going on. Hence, the local fans were misinformed, and incorrectly kept their hopes up. Had they been informed in a timely way, perhaps local voters could have influenced the process far before it got to this point. Shame on all of these people.

I wonder what we would have been saying 21 years ago had their been the internet and social media?

Some good arguments...but very weird mix of logos and pathos and obviously not sent through a professional writer or someone who does document design. Half lawyer speak and half emotional plea. Pretty surprised that a billion dollar business produced something like this...double spaced, other crappy formatting, and containing style and grammatical errors.

A very compelling argument...so don't want derail the joy of this thread...but just surprising how high school term paper this document looks. Really, they had months to work on this and I could have made this look awesome in half a week.

ha ha, no doubt... grammatical errors aside, aesthetically that was indeed a very amateurish and unattractive document presentation... in fact it seems difficult to believe that in this day and age, with so many folks, including nonprofessionals, adept at adobe suite tools, something that looked like this could have been released, it actually looked very '80s, ha ha....

anyway, pretty persuasive argument, especially the part regarding the relative pittance rsa offered for improvements, beginning with $30 million, on top of which rsa asked kroenke to split, crazy if accurate...
