How do you grade the new uniform?

Presumably because he wears glasses and can see what's right in front of him, like everyone else.

Polls can be very deceiving:

I can show you examples of many fans liking these new uni's

Different generations using different sites:

I see more of the X gen and older generations using Twitter, facebook, or older other sites...

While the millennials and Gen Z are using Instagram a lot more...

I think that was the market the RAMs FO wanted...

I'm reposted this from my other site I've posted this on...

You can look the number of "LIKES" on the bottom of each pic I've posted....

It out ranks the 29k from PFT...….

I have a 9er fan buddy,,,

And he is jealous...

He even said we hit a home run....

Yes there are ppl from other teams all over hating,,, cause in the back of their minds,,, they are saying why couldn't we have done something like that...

Just like we were the first to put on a logo on the helmet..

We are the first to make our Uni's look modern

my kids and her friends think they look great....

Just to add,,, there are plenty of likes from Instagram

I got to admit, Higbee looks good in bone and royal blue... :D :D :D

You could be right but is Instagram counting like and dislikes?

No, Instagram are not showing dislikes, only likes...

They do have a comment sections where you see ppl complaining...

but still the likes out rank those comments by far... tenfold.

Plus its obvious based off comparing to those that are complaining on twitter and other older sites...

When the RAMs first came back to L.A.,,,, they were estimating approximately 35k base of hardcore RAM fans in which they are the older generation...
I would say that grew to at least 50k or more... in the L.A. market area...

Now the RAMs FO wants to grab the younger generation for the future...

The most telling Picture is with Arron Donald wearing the blue uni with 101k likes...

Think about this,,, when did you become a fan of football...

I would say most likely at the age of 8yrs and up,,, but definitely by age 10yrs

If you put the old uni's next to the new uni's…

the kids will pick up the new ones with out a doubt...

Trust me,,, I did the test already with my kids and their friends...

The RAMs FO is way ahead of us old timers,,,

There's way more kids than Old timers by far...

And when it comes to Xmas time,,,

when your young son and daughters or grand kids ask if they can get those uni's,,,

are we really going to deny them? I think not... :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Excellent points - and I was 7 when I got my first Rams (Rawlings form JC Penny) blue and white full uni with pants, jersey helmet pads, football, tee and airpump - it was awesome.

https://www.sportspaper.info/blog/these ... -glorious/

So I can only imagine - even though it is so different and such a radically different era now - how cool these must look to little kids. Very Marvel, Transformer, superhero looking.

Maybe the part of me that "like" aspects of the uni is the kid in me, in all of us?

Moke and all those who can't stand the new look have very valid points - they simple prefer the traditional look that they fell in love with and identify with. And man I get that because the adult in me hates some of the stylistic design points.

well this twitter poll has 29k respondents of which 75% voted that they did not like the rams new duds (vs 85% who said they liked the chargers new uniforms) , so i wouldn't say that social media points to most digging the rams makeover... re aaron donald, the guy is universally liked, my guess is he would garner a gazillion likes even if he posed in a tutu.

It’s a landslide, in both directions: Chargers uniforms good, Rams uniforms not

A (twitter) poll posted last month in the aftermath of the Chargers’ uniform reveal generated 8,765 votes and an overwhelming 86-percent “yes” and 14-percent “no” in response to the question of whether the voters like the new duds. The same poll posted yesterday regarding the Rams’ new look attracted 29,279 votes, with 74.9 percent saying “no.”

---------------------------------------

and these guys ranked the rams makeover 7th among the 7 teams that tweaked their uniforms.

as far as demoff eyeing the younger generation when he thumbed-up the new threads, i'm not sure that was the case, instead i think the clear driving force was fielding a modern looking uniform to match the modern stadium.

Agreed. The change was an ego driven thing and was meant to be "trend setting" (just read Dumoff's comments about the "stitching" on the shoulder patch lol) and unique. Well, it IS unique. The problem is they already had the most unique uni in NFL history and only had to "tweak" it.

Dumoff doesn't care about "younger" fans as much as does about him being behind this "ultra creative" design. I bet he STILL is confused why so many people shit on the logo! Thinking to himself: "what is wrong with these people? This logo is FIRE!!" :lol2:

Sort of nullifies it as any kind of gauge IMO. Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, etc. where both sides can be counted all have a lot of negative responses. If you look on YouTube, most of the videos about the new uniforms are negative.

There are some positive so that is what the Rams will have to fall back on. That those will grow. But the initial response is a failure. They released the equivalent of a face only a mother can love.
