Its not hypocritical as far as NJ goes, that was my point comparing it to St Louis.
2 NFL teams play in Met Life stadium, which is in New Jersey. The Red Bulls soccer team plays around the corner in Harrison NJ, and they also call themselves NY
It infuriates us.
Had the XFL had the foresight to call the team NJ instead, I'd say attendance would be much higher

I agree with that too but thought you were talking about having XFL teams in cities that already have NFL teams.

Which, I suppose if they're going for status as an NFL developmental league it makes sense but to stand on their own, it seems non-NFL cities would fare better.

If the XFL miracles itself to a second season:
-do one of the Texas teams move to San Antonio?
-does the LA team move to Oakland or San Diego?
-do they try to expand to Chicago? Go to the abandoned MLS stadium to capture the suburban crowd?

I would support most of those ideas. Oakland, SD and SA make a ton of sense to me. I think the XFL would be far better served in representing former or adjacent NFL cities rather than current ones.

But I think they need to try Chicago. Huge media market, but the smallest stadium in the NFL. Plus there are lots of suburban residents who never go down because Soldier Field is one of the most challenging stadiums to get to/park at.

If Stanadu is successful in Inglewood I could see the Bears copying it out in the suburbs somewhere.

LA's QB is a good player. That bomb in the 3rd was pretty. The TB Wasabi team were slow on D.

Soon.

Next weekend's St. Louis Battlehawks game is on FS2. I had to look it up to see if DirecTV even had it or if it was streaming only.
