POST #87 How can anyone realistically see the Niners losing to the Vikes. No way it happens. No chance. Just a little nugget from Warren Sharp today. Minn is the worst defense in the whole league against 21 personnel runs. 74% success rate allowed. League average is 48%. So they’re not just the worst they should be on another page in that list. Niners run the most 21 personnel run plays in the whole league. I know a lot of people want them to lose but it’s just not happening this weekend. They could have easily been 3-5 or 2-6 as they won extremely close games against the Saints, Seahawks and Rams. They're beatable and Cousins got a huge monkey off his back last week and their defense is pretty good. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. Even with jimmy throwing an INT. by St. Loser Fan 5 years 5 months ago Total posts: 10893 Joined: May 31 2016 Saint Louis MO Hall of Fame So can we talk about the playoffs yet? Even with jimmy throwing an INT.I would've thought the Saints were more of a lock last week. But i also think there's a good chance the Vikings run out of gas this week.Obviously the Niners are a 7 point favorite for a reason.Still, this is why they play the games and we watch: It's fun to speculate and you still never really know what's gonna happen... Who predicted the Titans beating the Patriots (beside me )? Who predicted the Vikings beating the Saints? The Eagles beat the Bears in Chicago last year and that was a surprise. In 2017, Jacksonville beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Shit happens and lets face it, the niners looked unbeatable for the first 8 weeks and then went 5-3 the rest of the way.
