yep...

speaking of which, i've been a pittsburgh pirates fan my entire life (clemente, what can i say) and always thought that it was very cool that their their major sports teams (buccos, steelers and penguins) all sported the same colors... in fact i think it would be pretty cool if that was the case for every city that sported pro teams, if they all shared the same colors... of course given how often teams have relocated throughout the years there would have been some interesting changes, for example imagine if the rams switched to red & white when they moved to st. louis. :shock2:

Perhaps that short white snail logo termination / removal clip will be how they will reveal the new colors and logo , , but in reverse....

this logo reminds me of stock, royalty free, black and white clip art junk that can be found anywhere online, that someone printed out and had their 7-year-old daughter color in.

I haven’t been following the uniform updates at all to be honest. Way more interested in the stadium and the roster. But here’s my general view on it being a new Rams fan.

I would be 1000% ok if they went and did a complete overhaul of the design and colors. I think it would be very cool. Honestly. But i know that NFL as a whole doesn’t do radical change so that’s not gonna happen but I think it would be super cool to have a stand out modern sharp design and if it doesn’t have much influence from the past then that’s ok. I know you guys are getting the stones ready to throw at me. Lol. Sure it’ll look weird for a couple of weeks but after that we won’t even notice it. At the same time if they kept the “ferragamos” that ya’ll like that’s ok too. It’s just really not that big of a issue. I have made some friends who are. A little younger than me and new Rams fans as well and we have a group text and there’s never any uniform talk on it. Like nobody brings it up.

I really liked the color rush uniforms from the last 2 seasons. They are lit. But honestly, the size of the horns and all that, couldn’t care less. Having said that I would like it if they got rid of those blue/gold uniforms. They are hideous. This is such a subjective topic tho.

This uniform also subliminally evokes LA fandom/sports due to the similarity to the Lakers colors. These are badass. Who hates these? Make the number font as dark as possible and then flip the scheme for the away shirt. Can you imagine how badass we’d look with black/very dark blue shirt with gold/yellow trim. Predominantly black unis would be a hit in the, as the kids say, streets. Lol.

Solid post, Mcbae.

However, I'll disagree with your take on the horns. Those babies are iconic, well, they were before Georgia turned them into skinny goat horns. Nothing like a camera shot along the trenches with all those horned helmets of the linemen ready for action on the LOS.

As long as the horns remain on the helmet, I'm in. Change the colors to pink and lime green...I'm still in, provided the horns are still in. Dump the horns, I become a 49er fan out of spite.

You want to talk about bad influence: the current batch of NHL alternate uniforms from Adidas. The Predators, Stars and Kings special uniforms are hot messes. The Dallas ones are especially horrendous; but the Avalanche are just “meh” bad.

You know, I kind of dig this take on our RAMS. Definitely, some bad-arse horns on that RAM. Colors could be different, but that RAM is good stuff.

LSU Tigers too. For some reason I like there unis. ;)

Speaking of the Pirates, one of my neighbors and good friends was George 'Red' Witt who pitched for the Champion 1960 Pirates. He used to bunk with Clemente. Got a rotation in the WS. He passed a few years back skin cancer related. Really great dude!!
