Glad they won't move near the hallowed ground the Forum sits on.

To Ballmer's point, he says he feels sorry for the Chargers because they are in the Rams House and shadow? I guess he knows how it feels since his Blippers are about as LA as the Chargers are. OK, they have been here long enough to gather some fans along the way, and they are pretty good lately, but the fever still isn't catching on because LA is a Lakers town. The passing of Kobe just brought that all back into focus.
I'm sure Spanass is hoping for the same result as the Flippers eventually but this is what he gets for now and possibly forever because this is a Rams town. The remaining Raiders fans here don't help the Flippers popularity equation much either.

Both team should just move back to 'America Finest City' and compete for titles there. Order would be restored and the leverage threat for NFL teams to relocate to LA would be alive and well again..

I wonder how long the Forum will last after the Clippers arena opens? I saw a Kings game there a billion years ago and kick myself for never getting to a Lakers game.

The only proper home of the Chargers is San Diego. Let Jeff Bezos overpay and move them back.

Yes, we should remove the St Louis trash from here too

7 days for St. Loser for his incessant trolling and because i've asked him multiple times not to do it in this particular thread...

It was a great venue for sports and concerts. Its primarily a concert venue now and the experience and acoustics are tight. If SoFi dont pose a huge problem then I doubt the Blippers new digs will matter much.

Some sort of combo football/basketball stadium could be done well with modern technology. It was not possible in the past but they can make stadiums into giant transformers at this point. I think a Charger Clipper stadium would be pretty cool in San Diego.
And as long as Spanos is not the owner or anyway involved, most peeps on SDG would love the Chargers back.

Rich dudes, opportunity knocks. America's finest city is open and Ballmer, well who knows. He didnt pay $2B for the San Diego Flippers. If he is really feeling that bad maybe but hed have to get a Chip down there to get momentum. They've been gone for what 35 + years? But SD deserves a shot in the arm like that after Spanass did his thing...

I have said this before; how different would we feel about the Chargers if they had their own stadium? I think things will be much better for everyone when the Clippers get their own.
I think if the Chargers has their own it would feel much better. Like they can do their thing and Rams can do theirs. But the tenant stadium thing is going to be trouble for a long time I fear.
