We as fans have very little to bitch about nowadays. We love our Coaches, We have a roster full of talent. Our off-season could not have gone better so what do we have left to bitch about.....oh yeah our UNIFORMS. In 2 short years, everything will be in place and then what will we have to bitch about? The cost of beer at the new stadium? To put how quickly 2 years will go by in perspective, a short 2 years ago today, we were a newly arrived team in LA with Jeff Fisher as coach coming off another 7-9 bullshit season. That almost seems like it was yesterday.

I might agree if the uniforms hadn't been a problem from before last year. They just reached a hideous low last year.

I dont follow Hockey, so I don't know what got screwed up.

I was told that a lot goes into rebranding. They look at the history of the team and their uniforms over many years. That gets factored into the the process and product. I was told other stuff that goes into it, but I forgot them.

The big takeaway is that Demoff is just a mouthpiece, don't blame him for the way the uniforms look now, it's all on Nike and it's done intentionally.

I doubt very much if Nike has final say on the uniforms. They may try and hard-sell their designs and try and convince the Rams that it's in their best interest but the Rams have got to have final say.

Not sure why either side would ever take credit for the mismatched monstrosities.

Actually, playing in the Coliseum and the team seemingly wanting to find ways to connect/re-connect with the LA market, I wonder if the tiny horn sleeves are supposed to somehow resemble the USC Trojan sleeve stripes? I would love to think they actually had some thought behind doing it rather than just not have any taste.

yep, impossible to believe that nfl teams don't have creative input, and final say, when it comes to what the nike gang comes up with, for example there's no way a team like the packers would ever let nike change their helmet logo, while the dolphins seemed to be ok with what nike came up with in terms of their (relatively) new helmet logo and, unbelievably, the jags went with nike's two tone helmet concept (only to finally ditch that mess this year).

but as many have said before, whatever the new unis look like, they're not going to please everyone, that's for damn sure.

Nice comment, agreed, with this team trending up in every area we gotta leave no stone unturned in our quest to gripe about something Rams related.
I will say I like the blue & whites, and it looks like that's the direction they're headed with the helmet & pants missing any gold or yellow. Time will tell.
But I can say this: when the new stadium opens, it will be bold, beautiful, and a perfect ultra-modern palace for new LA Rams football. No better time to unveil the new unis.

I guess I’m not making my point clearly enough. Nike designs the uniforms, then they pitch it to the Rams and the Rams either say yes or no. The Rams don’t tell Nike how to design them, although they will say what they like and don’t like. It’s Nike’s job to design the uniforms, modify them, or dump them and start over. No one on the Rams takes a pen and changes the design. This isn’t amateur hour.
