Man, what could have been. Robbie Bosco was awesome and I think would have been something if not for injury. He wrecked his ankle and knee but played anyway against Michigan where he could barely walk but played thru it to get BYU the National Championship.
Iirc he tore up his shoulder in a preseason game for Green Bay and was never able to play again.

so many "what could have been" stories in the nfl, the league's history is littered with them... jerry rhome often comes to mind when i think of nfl "what could have been" stories, i got to know him quite well during my helmet collecting / authenticating days, we would chat while he was at his qb camp, such a great guy, kindest guy in the world... anyway he was an absolute ncaa stud, heisman runner up, shattered all kinds of records when at tulsa (and he's not shy about volunteering all of the specifics, nor pointing to all of the honors he's earned, ha ha), but he just never really got much of a chance in the nfl, said he was never going to get past meredith or morton, for one he was a shrimp compared to those guys, rhome was 6-0 in cleats... anyway, had he gotten a shot like hoyer for example, it would have been interesting to see what he might have made of it.

13th in what, 5 games? Goff is 10th in 15?

Pretty sure it’s based on sacks per game or by % of drop backs
