Wentz showed good mobility throughout the game, not only avoiding pressure in the pocket but also scrambling when the play broke down to pick up key yardage. He rushed 17 times for 56 yards. Wentz’s 17 carries were the most by a Rams quarterback since 1950.

The Rams really didn't try very hard to win this game (strategically speaking), rested their best players, didn't game plan in a way that would "show a ton," McVay didn't call the plays, and yet got what could very well be an important win...

I’m tellin ya, the whiners want no part of the Rams in the playoffs. The tide is turning. They know we are as physical or more so then that are. That our offense can move the ball and score on them. And, that our ad can get to and rattle Purdy. They know we can match up against their run game. Deebo is a problem RAC but he is for everyone. Their secondary is shakier than ours. Their pass rush probably more consistent and has more “stars”. But we have AD and his pupils who are playing really good ball.

Here’s to getting another crack at them in the next few weeks.
