My hope is with the NFC South leader at .500, the eventual winner is 8-9. That takes 3 teams off that list and leaves just 3 to overcome. Still, the Rams HAVE TO win for it to be relevant.

I hope they come out and FINALLY put a complete game together to give everyone that roadmap to what will be required the rest of the way. Gonna be interesting tomorrow for sure.

STANDINGS

Philly 10-1
Detroit 8-3
SF 8-3
Atlanta 5-6

WC - Dallas 8-3
WC - Minn 6-5 (play MNF)
WC - Seattle 6-5

8. GB 5-6
9. RAMS 5-6
10. New Orleans 5-6
11. Tampa 4-7
12. NY Giants 4-8
13. Wash 4-8
14. Bears 4-8 (play MNF)

DRAFT WATCH

1. Carolina (Bears)
2. Arizona
3. New England
4. Chicago
5. Washington
6. NY Giants
7. Tampa Bay
8. NY Jets
9. Tennessee
10. LA Chargers
11. New Orleans
12. Green Bay
13. Las Vegas
14. LA Rams
15. Cincinnati

So Detroit messed things up for us a bit.
Dallas put Washington further behind.
SF wins sending Seattle to 6-5.
With a Win we are 1 game back but need to have a better record than GB

Rams clearly need to beat AZ and see how everything shakes out with the Saints Sunday and Vikings Monday.

Basically, as of now it’s a 7 team race for the last 2 WC spots and for the NFC South title. Vikings, Seahawks, Packers, Rams, Saints, Falcons, and Bucs are all fighting for the playoffs. One of the South teams will win the division. The other two are in the hunt with us and the rest.

So, those are the teams to watch as we move forward. Seattle is in trouble as PA laid out in another post. They have a brutal schedule the next 3 weeks - Cowboys, Niners, Eagles. The Vikings have the Bears, Raiders, and Bengals.

Not gonna list the rest but there should be a lot of shuffling over the next 3 weeks. And by the time we take on the Commanders week 15, things could be a lot clearer. Or they could be a mess like they are now. I think the Vikings will jump up while the Seahawks fall. Packers play the Chiefs, Giants, and Bucs. We could be tied with them after week 15.

So damn many what ifs. But the reality is; keep winning and let the chips fall.

So, a Rams win next week coupled with a GB loss and a Seattle loss, and the Rams are the 7 seed/last WC team. Still a lot of football to be played. But today was a good showing and a wins streak has been started.

They now need to win convincingly over a quality opponent. The Browns are on D. The Ravens are completely. You find a way to beat both and your team confidence will be through the roof.

I figured on 5 wins, or thereabouts, at the start of the season.

One guy I didn’t figure on that is excelling is Kyren. He makes a huge difference when he’s in there. We’re a WC playoff team with a healthy Stafford and Williams.
