And when MCV said undecided at RG that surely isn’t based on Jax’s play there, I don’t think. Makes me think he’s considering a move at LT as well. Just didn’t say it.

The problem with Boom playing on the inside,

he can't handle the bull rush against big strong DT.

He is better on the outside, against speed rusher.

He uses his length to push out wide the Speed rushers.

Where he has trouble,

is a speed rusher that also has strength to use the bull rush,

Thats usually a top Pro Bowler or All Pro player,

And there is only a little over a hand full of those guys that can do both.

We're just gonna have to wait until Sunday to see the starting lineup for Sunday.

Totally agree 69. However, if MCV is considering changes along the entire interior, I was looking to do just that. That leaves either Jax at LT or on the Bench. Unless they flip Jax next to Boom, Skura, Oday. Didn’t consider that option.

Yours is the most likely lineup. But Jax next to Boom might actually help Boom more than a total unknown there?? I know this, Evans belongs on the bench, another team’s bench would be fine by me. He is horrid.

Perhaps Noteboom plays better once the interior shores up and he's not so worried about which way to go.
Either that or hit the weight room with Aaron Donald !

With Buffalo, Dallas and San Francisco being 3 of the first 5 games on our schedule, and considering we're playing with 3rd string interior linemen, I'd say this season is about where we should expect.

The elephant question in the room is how/who can we can fix it.
I'm betting on Snead and McVay to put their heads together. I don't think money is going to be an issue as long as the team can offload some salary. These dudes are pretty sharp
