Great, wait another 20 years for another Vermeil. Who gave us one glorious blip. And that can hold you for another 20 years.

Me, I want a guy who gives us a full career of winning, not just one year. My money is on McVay winning us a SB, and going down as the greatest coach in Rams history.

You want to call him a dickhead cause he does things that don’t meet with your high moral standards? Knock yourself out. Nobody that matters gives a shit.

A subtle vote of support for our asshole coach.

I love it when the Only Coach in Ram history to win the Super bowl is called a dickhead.

You make good points but there's really not many games Goff carried the team. He was a lot like Bulger. Both good arms, both surrounded by supreme talent , both slow and pretty one dimensional. When Gurley lost a step was when Goff suddenly started declining. Goff is to lean, has weak wrists and get's that deer in the headlights look under pressure. We've all seen Stafford get his ass drilled then come back and stand in there again. Staffords physique is better and he has a better arm. It will be the 1st time he's been on a contender , and the first time the Rams have had a QB that will stand in there since Kurt. I'm excited to see Stafford continue his solid play, and relieved Goff won't be throwing anymore ducks to wide open DB's or fumbling when a feather off of a pigeon flying over causes a fumble.

I want to win. I’m tired of watching guys like Belichick and Parcells win multiple SBs and saying how nasty they are, and then hearing fans defend them and call them winners.

McVay is driven to win. And I love it. Before he came to the Rams, I watched losing teams for 23 out of 27 freaking years. McVay has made the Rams winners. I’m all in on the McVay train.

You guys want to criticize him cause he does things that you think make him a mean guy or an asshole, knock yourself out. I’m sticking with a winner. And I appreciate what’s he’s done for my team. So fuck Fassell, and anyone else that McVay says has to go in order for the Rams to win.
Not to mention, McVay is usually right about the guys who need to go. These aren't knee-jerk moves by an immature, impatient coach. Kroenke wanted a Patriots style regime that had consistent, long term success and part of that is buying into what is being done AND being able to perform as expected. If you don't, you're gone.

Gurley is a perfect example of that. That guy was the offense and a star. Didn't matter, he starts struggling, maybe leaning on his past success...gonzo.

Sentiment and loyalty can't be taken too far and McVay has shown that he doesn't put those things over production. IMO, Rams fans should appreciate his willingness to cut bait and move on. Memories of Tony Banks as a good example of the opposite side of that.

Until there are many examples of McVay giving up too early and players going on to have success elsewhere, his approach is refreshing and better than the league wide approach of just hanging on and on to guys and still having to move on anyway.

Yup. This is a big change for lifelong Rams fans. We’ve got to reset our expectations. Start thinking about winning as first priority.

i'll say it's a big change...

for this staunch goff supporter, i must say, this year couldn't have started off with a bigger bang...

and after a few days of pouting, i'm all in... why not? former successes dictate...

the stafford vids are moving the needle with this longtime fan, and moving it a lot...

right now?.. i couldn't be more excited about the next season... just pissed that it's so far off... :x :( ;)

go rams
