I just can't get excited about Gase. He coached the Broncos when they were on a tear but does anyone think that was because of him and not Peyton Manning? The Bears didn't really do anything noteworthy with him this year, did they?

He may be a good HC but is he really cream of the crop? I'd much rather have Coughlin, Shanahan and others before taking a chance on Gase.

I like Gase because he's a Martz disciple and because, maybe he'll put Martz on his staff.

But yeah, as a HC, he's a complete unknown. Still, i am interested to see how he does. I generally like the new exciting guy over the old mediocre retread, but we've seen how the new hotshots can go up in flames...

Coughlin to Phily will be interesting.

And I will also start watching Dolphins football if he brings Martz aboard.

I heard TC is interviewing...it isn't a done deal, is it? My impression is he really wants to stick it to the Giants so I could easily see Philly signing him.
