RedAlice wrote:Got it right. And man, I am never flying with you. 💙💛

haha, planes would be a step up from trains.

The good part of landing in Ireland was the Russians only wanted us Americans to fly in their best planes. This was in the 70's so the cold war still had legs. Brezhnev flew in the same DC-10 we were using and they only had 2. So we had to wait until he was done using the other one before they could send it out to us from Moscow. That took 24 hours.
Everyone from our plane sat in the airport terminal waiting. My dad and I befriended the skycap at the Aeroflop terminal and got his phone number to check in. We then rented a car and traveled around Ireland hitting quite a few converted castles out in the countryside which had become pub's. We drank a lot of Guinness and played a lot of darts at various places that night.
Driving back on the wrong side of the road was an adventure in itself. lol

I am not very good at this... I guess engineers are not very creative. :(

I have shot 92 quite a few times, but never had an ace.

LARams_1963 wrote:#3 - That's incredible if you actually did it! Except for the 92.... :lol2:

Yeah, 92 is the accurate example of my golf game, never had the ace!

LARams_1963 wrote:OK! Here are my choices.....

1. I 'm a semi professional underwater photographer and videographer
2. I attended arguably the two most exciting Rams games in history. '99 SB and the '18 Chiefs game. Also attended the '18 SB defeat.
3. When the Rams left LA I became a Panthers fan for a brief period of time (before realizing I couldn't stop being a Rams fan)
4. I was a Merchant Marine for 10 years

Those are tough.... I am going for #3 being the lie, as you have too much self respect to be a Panthers fan! :lol2:

I'll go with #4 since #3 sounds more truthful.

Nope. They were still Jefferson Airplane when I saw them at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. It was either 71 or 72.

#3 and #4 are both true

The Rams-Chiefs game was on November 19, 2018.
50 Years and 2 days before that, November 17, 1968 was the greatest game I ever saw.

I was a little kid, watching on a Black & White TV, a game that went on to be called the "Heidi Game". Just about as many back-and-forth lead changes, and the go-ahead TD was virtually the same play.

I think actress Jennifer Edwards is more famous for interrupting the game than she was for any movie/show she was in.

Believe it or not that one is true. She was a nurse at a maximum security prison and met this guy.

His story was it was a drug deal gone wrong and his brother, who was also in prison, shot the five people not him.

She was married to him 6 months. She gave up her job and took severance pay to marry him lol.

As you might remember BC, I have always been a Rams fan, first and foremost. Didn't I send you, or give you a video of Madden, Villipiano, Atkinson & Co. talking Raiders? But back in the AFL days I followed the Raiders too. Loved that they were badasses and everybody hated them. Lamonica, Biletnikoff, Warren Wells, Hewritt Dixon, Willie Brown, Tom Keating, Ben Dirty Davidson and Blanda, who used to relieve Lamonica and bring them back to win. I think he did it 2 or 3 times one year, though I forget which year......that cliff climbing has screwed with my memory!!

Sorry Hack. It's #4.

I worked for a private investigating firm when I was younger. I'd be placed in jobs at various facilities from wineries to bottling plants for months at a time investigating theft and drug use. Crazy to think I put myself at risk like that, but it's a cool story to tell.

It's true. I use to be in Jennifer Anniston's circle of friends for a brief while. Even broke her finger once slamming the ball playing "wallyball" (volleyball in a raquet ball court). This was before her "Friends" debut. She even came to the first show I ever played in Hollywood at what was then the Gaslight. We lost touch after her career took off. Guess I wasn't in the inner circle. :D

Music was the majority of my 90s life (as was Elvis', I think). Broke the Billboard Rock Top 40 for about two weeks back in '96.

Although my avatar is me surfing, I'm a pretty average surfer, if even that. :lol2: I just love it.
