I will ALWAYS trust Sean McVay's opinion on the talent of a WR over some random internet dude. It always cracks me up that these types write in absolutes.

I do as he has been with the Rams since 2012. He has made numerous mistakes, and I'm ready to go in a new direction.

One of the reasons they have 13 OL is due to not being able to draft .

I've read experts giving the Rams a bad grade for 2020 so I'm not alone.

As far as Snead goes, you do realize he was GM during 5 straight losing seasons? Not every pick is going to be great.

here is the thing, based on this draft the Rams feel comfortable in two things:

1. The offensive line
2. The defense as a whole

I can understand why the Rams opted to not add more to the offensive line as they have invested several picks into the position over the last few drafts and signed Whit and Blythe.
I disagree about the lack of defensive players drafted.

Don't forget they traded for Austin Corbett as well - #33 pick when he came out.

While I think the Rams added nice offensive talent at RB, WR and TE, I do think they are a bit of a luxury at this point. The WR, TE and S picks seem to be for protection for 2021, if key players arent signed. I would have rather drafted more help beyond just Lewis to fix the lack of pass rush and lingering run stopping ability by the defense.

I would have invested more at LB for sure. That said, who am I? The guys in charge are professionals whose jobs rely on doing the right thing more often than not.

Bottom line, I didnt think there was anything really wrong with the offense last year beyond o-line issues. I believe Goff, Hendu, Brown, Woods, Kupp, Reynolds, Higs and Everett could do plenty of damage. I do understand adding to the RB room.

I agree. Even with the revolving door on the O-line we were the 7th ranked offense in the NFL. I agree on RB, as McVay's system relies on the running game so heavily. After reading and looking at tape online, I think Jefferson will be an upgrade over Josh Reynolds.

If the Rams are right about the offense line and defense as a whole, than this was the way to draft for 2020 and beyond. If the o-line struggles (Rams were wrong last year)and/or the defense struggles then Snead/McVay are open for criticism for sure.

If we can keep our O-line reasonably healthy - with Gurley's bum knee gone - I think this offense will be top 5 in the NFL.
