I listened to Fred Roggin. His message was that this is not the final version of the logo however it is more or less a prototype of what to expect. He said they will not start over and do something completely different.

How hard is it just to come up with a ferocious looking ram with big horns?

Disappointing although I guess not all that important in the long run.

You say it's not that important yet you listened to Fred Roggin...

Existentially speaking, you're right. But in terms of being a Rams fan? It is kind of important. This whole mess started in 2000 and has continually gotten worse. The Rams had a choice, go back to what so many loved and still want or to continue down the re-design path that has garnered some ugly results.

So, do we as fans suddenly feel like they'll get it right this time, ignoring all recent examples to the contrary? I know if they gave me a choice between hitting the reset button or letting Nike come up with something, there wouldn't be any consideration from me.

True, but I'm pretty confident that it would have been on a Rams board. People are not shy about being disappointed.

So what did Roggin say? Are we all idiots who need to calm down, shut up and wait?

In terms of importance its Unis over Logo. That said...

This logo looks like a standard company logo, not a sports team.

LA Cellular took over Wave Communications and this is the new launch.

Go Rams!
