they made improvements on deal. Question is, is that the same term sheet STL leaders are scouring over, voting on?

Apparently Kroenke has told the NFL he'll take on a second team as a full partner, which is probably a big step in getting him and Spanos together. Puts the ball in Spanos' court.

Here's an article on that. Says he offered the option to either Chargers or Raiders and sent the proposal to the LA Committee last week.

Rams offer to share with Chargers or Raiders

RVING, TEXAS β€” One anticipated solution to the NFL’s Los Angeles logjam, it turns out, has already been put forth.

The St. Louis Rams have proposed a sort of 50-50 partnership with either the Chargers or Raiders in Inglewood.

The proposal was made to the Committee on Los Angeles Opportunities via a letter last week, said two sources familiar with the maneuverings.

It has long been considered a likelihood that two of the teams would be compelled to broker a deal. Many in and around the league felt that would come after these meetings. The Rams didn't wait.

"Someone needed to break through this impasse,” one source said.

The Chargers are considered the more likely partner, both sources confirmed. However, one of the sources said, "It could be the Raiders."

One issue with the Rams' proposal to the L.A. Committee is that while the second team would ostensibly be an equal partner in the stadium, it precludes that team from involvement in the surrounding development, stadium design and other facets that would certainly be points of contention.

However, the revelation that Kroenke is willing to deal possibly sheds light on the league's renewed impetus for a decision on relocation coming sooner than later.

In discussion that I had last week with my son and his friends on Wall Street, they said that a partnership in Inglewood would be the best business plan for the NFL. I had drinks with a few 30 something guys and girls from Evercore and GS last Tuesday before Thanksgiving in Manhattan, and I ran them through everything I knew and they came to this conclusion rather quickly.

They said Kroenke will not get LA all to himself, that ultimately it has to be partnership. They said this is how most deals go down on Wall Street.

Basically if Spanos doesn't take up Kroenke on that deal, then he doesn't want to really move.

Parking and construction? Okay, shut up, Spanos. Kroenke does this for a living.

Stan made his move. You want to be an equal partner then put up money and challenge 49 years of history in LA? Let's do it.

This is not Stans first rodeo. This is what he does. Let's negotiate Deano boy..
