have a cousin-in-law (if i'm doing the math correctly) who was the prez of the flamingo hilton in vegas, and in the gaming industry since he graduated from duke, visiting him and his family in vegas was always a hoot, all of their friends that we met were in the gaming industry, everything from pit bosses to casino executives... anyway they all live in beautiful las vegas homes, golf their brains out, and have personal lives completely away from the strip, and all of their kids (teens to late 20s) have nothing to do with the strip either, it's nothing more than a rowdy tourist trap to be avoided...point is, my guess is players won't have a prob staying away from the strip either after the novelty of a couple of visits.

Swiss Family Canuck just returned from Sin City a week or so ago....in suburban Henderson NV, one finds the Lake Las Vegas area, which turns out, is quite a little Slice of Heaven IMO.....oasis in the desert....big cabin cruisers puttering around......stayed at the Westin Lake Las Vegas....very posh (thank you William MyFellowCanuck! Shatner & the good people @priceline.com ) for 2 nights before our timeshare condo week started downtown.
As I said to #1 daughter upon our arrival at the Westin "Nice to see where the rich people stay, eh!!"

The Westin was 100% sold out. How do I know you ask? Canuck never pays for Valet Parking....so when every fooking spot in the Self Park area is taken, you end up parking so far away from the Lobby, it feels like the Death March To Bataan, just to get back to the hotel!!!

My guess is that some of the Raiders will be populating those many mansions in that well-heeled Lake Las Vegas area come 2020.
