I don't think this was about the fans.

That's where this argument is missing the point.

What makes an NFL team worth owning is Luxury Boxes, not the number of "true fans" that show up.

Blame the City leaders? The political leaders are a small part of the "leadership".

Corporate leadership paying for Luxury Boxes is mostly important for a team to stay in one city or another. St. Louis didn't fill the Luxury Boxes. ... YES Corporate leadership let St. Louis down.

Media leadership failed the city too. They failed to educate and grow the fan base, they failed to mediate a good relationship between building political and corporate's responsibility for supporting a team.

What was the relationship between the political leadership and the corporate leadership in the City? ... and their respective relationships with Kroenke? And the local media's relationships?

Discussion boards and call-in radio shows that are full of enthusiasm do not give us the true pulse of what is necessary to keep a team.

There were a lot of great fans in St. Louis ... there still are.

The fans buying PSL's are the ones that helped pay to build the luxury boxes ... but Corporate sponsorship needs to fill those boxes, otherwise a team owner will pick up his toys and go elsewhere.

Not according to Stan and Demoff.

jackburginjr wrote:Your attempt at trying to blame people from outside coming in is sad, and pathetic.

Yes, I am sad and pathetic. Hope that makes you feel better about yourself.

jackburginjr wrote:True fans buy the tickets, and show up. That is all their is to that.

1)"Their"? If you're going to insult and argue with me at lease learn to spell and use decent English.
2) Yes, true fans do show up. That's why I attended 8 games pretty much every year, including the 3-13, 2-14 and 1-15 consecutive season. But that's because I'm dumb and really stubborn.

I knew there was trouble when the 200 and 300 boxes/seats got empty. When those were dark during games, the seats empty and the Rams started trying to push those to regular people, that was a death sign.

I’m stepping away as Red is right, this isn’t healthy. And also there’s nothing I can say that will change any of your minds.

Dude I never said your sad and pathetic. While a comment could be that. I never said you were. It is the same thing as saying someone made a stupid comment, that does not make someone stupid.

Far as a misspelled word or typo. I could care less. You sit there and point a finger at others and accuse them of insulting, yet you try to do that very thing yourself. I never thought of this as arguing or insulting you as you see it or try to portray it. I thought this was a debate about things. Trust me if I am insulting someone there would be no mistake or misunderstanding it.

With regards to IF Stan Kroenke, and Kevin Demoff were going to where you think they were, as I said before they could have used better terminology. However to be honest the majority of the "fans" there did suck. They jumped ship in tough times, and true fans stay loyal to their team. They did not. Had nothing to do with any potential move because they pathetically jumped ship when they started to struggle, degrading players , and all that. So IF that is what they meant, well they were speaking the truth then. Even a team owner has every right to get frustrated with the fans when they are not loyal fans. But again my original thought is where I think the majority of those comments meant.

Your right there is nothing you can say to change our minds. The points I make are correct. They are among the many reasons the lawsuit is a joke, and should be tossed out.
