Yeah, at the presentation (they were selling the lower bowl at the time) one of the selling points was better/nicer seats, the padded ones. It's a fine line, you don't want the upper bowl seats to seem shitty but you do want to offer a real advantage for the lower bowl.

Anyway, i'd think the single seats would provide a little space between each of us and not have us quite so shoulder to shoulder as the connected ones but we'll see, and pretty soon.

As bad as the new seats in the coliseum seemed at first blush, they're actually not bad for sitting in. I don't find myself uncomfortable or unhappy with them during a game.

I co-worker of mine left last month and now works for LASED/So-Fi Stadium. I saw her posting a photo on Insta where she's giving her Dad a tour. I reached out and, apparently, she's indicating she can do the same for me. I'll let you all know if it comes to fruition.

I think it would be interesting if an American football stadium (college or pro) would ever offer a "safe standing" section like they do at soccer stadiums. Just look at that one end of the LAFC stadium and how raucous it is.

Actually they kind of are in this case. When I went to the breakfast with Demoff, I asked about how the "expand" to 100k. Basically, it is kind of a shell game. There will be "standing room" around the stadium and American Airline Plaza becomes a "ticketed area" so all those numbers get added.

Because we rarely land on the South side because we park on the North side. Got these today.
