Only in New York and LA. But every other owner is happily feeding at the taxpayer trough.

Going backwards from most recent openings:
-Allegiant Las Vegas: $1.9 billion cost/$800 million public money
-SoFi LA: $5 billion cost/$0 public money
-MB Stadium Atlanta: $1.6 billion cost/$700 million public money
-US Bank Minnesota: $1.1 billion cost/ $550 million public money
-Levis 49ers: $1.3 billion cost/$850 million public money
-Met Life NY: $1.6 billion cost/$0 public money
-ATT Stadium Dallas: $1.3 billion cost/$425 million public money
-Lucas Oil Indy: $720 million cost/$620 million public money (that's an ugly ratio)

The Bills recent opening demand was $1.2 billion from Buffalo and New York for a new stadium. Plus another $300 million for either a complete renovation of the Sabres current hockey arena or a whole new building.

I mean none of this has anything to do with the case and is a silly tangent.

Seems to me by asking for revised plans ESK could have been giving StL every chance to make it work out, (hint hint) but it apparently wasn't enough.
Still doesn't sound like grounds for a fair suit.

I suggest you research more. There are other stadiums built by the owners , and they did not use public funds. Funny though how you mention a point, I counter now you try to downplay it.

You want me to go further back? Will that make you happy?
State Farm Stadium Arizona: $450 million cost/ $310 million public money
Lincoln Financial Philly: $512 million cost/$335 million public money
Ford Field Detroit: $500 million cost/$350 million public money
Gillette Stadium $325 million cost/$0 public money
Lumen Field Seattle: $360 million/$260 million public money
NRG Stadium Houston: $450 million cost/$275 million public money
Mile High Denver: $400 million cost/$300 million public
Heinz Field $280 million public cost/$230 million public money
Plus Arrowhead's renovations about a decade ago: $400 million cost/$350 million public money

So of the 16 NFL stadiums opened in the 21st century, 13 have used public money for a majority of the cost. I wouldn't call that "some"; that would be "most"

That doesn't mean it's right. It's not right. All the taxpayers in these cities and states have to do is what Californians have done. Just say, we're not paying for stadiums with tax dollars.

Do you think the NFL will just stop building and renovating stadiums? They'll find a way, and it will be with private money, as it should be.

This public money stuff has to stop.

Part of that new mountain of TV money needs to be placed into a new no interest slush fund for all owners to borrow from and pay for new stadiums.

If you have tons of money like Stan you don't need it. If you're "poor" like Spanos, Davis etc then you have a mechanism to pay for a stadium and stay in your home town.

Could be a way to get the Chargers back to San Diego sooner rather than later.

It would also help teams/old school owners like the Bears where the only wealth is from football.

Point I was making is that there are stadiums that have been built without public funds. Never said most were not. None of those have to do with the fact as I have pointed out, and others, the lawsuit or rather the joke of a lawsuit filed in STL should be thrown out, and STL forced to pay for a worthless joke of a lawsuit.
