They guy I was talking about splashed his tag 3 huge places along the new stretch of I-70 leading to the Stan Musial bridge. To this day you can see where IDOT covered it with grey paint.

I know everyone is anxious and for some reason every time another team does something uniform related it seems like a Rams failure but the idea that the Rams don't have a plan and tons of media hype ready for rolling out the new uniforms, something they've been working on for 4 years now, seems awfully unlikely to me...

I think that's agreeable but I think a lot of us don't understand, especially if it's true, why they are being secret about it? I don't see why they couldn't have, by now, announced a date for the unveiling? I'm anxious to see what they come up with but I would have absolutely no problem if they had said the new uniforms will be released even months from now.

Part of this, I think, is how we've got to this point. The way the Rams have handled uniform tweaks and failures and being coy and the delays and confusion about rules and exemptions and cryptic approach has all added up to impatience by this fan. I'd guess many others.

There's really nothing coy or cryptic about it. For four years now we've known the re branding would come with the new stadium. That's still true.

Also the Rams have fan councils that they are consulting with on the new uniforms so it's not public but they have been very methodical and inclusive with the process.

That said, i'm sure a lot of people will hate the new uniforms no matter what they are, that's just the nature of the beast even in the best case scenario...

No doubt. But no matter how bad they may be, there will always be uglier uniforms like the Titans or Panthers!!

I agree that no uniform design will be universally loved(or hated). But my point is more about the long, dragged out approach that the Rams have taken. They've been hinting and suggesting a uniform change since back in the St. Louis days and have repeatedly hid behind league rules and restraints as to why they haven't done something. How many times have they said that they couldn't make a change because the league requires this or that? It's getting old and it would have been nice if the team had put a date on presenting the new uniforms.

While the uniforms are unimportant to some, there are just as many or more fans that find it important to them and I think, regardless if the information would have a big part of the process, a public participation sponsored by the team would have generated interest.

A guy on Reddit did a Deep Dive into the SoFiSeats website in search of clues. If you're a web nerd, it's a pretty fun rabbit hole to go down. :D

Well like i said, we've known for a while now the rebranding would happen with the new stadium, no guessing or hinting needed.

I wouldn't go by anything pre Kroenke/L.A.

They're spending a ton of money on the move and new stadium. They want this to work.
They need it to work for financial reasons. You can be sure they're not dicking around or winging it at this point.

We'll see how it works out but there's no way this is suffering from inattention...

All I know is I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket waiting to be spent on a new jersey, hat, and probably a T shirt or two once the new stuff is released.

Come and take my money already!
