I'm simply saying the Rams should have pleaded their case for extreme situation. It's doesn't sound like they've gone that extra yard to make the LA fans happy.

Move back is irrelevant, only in your trolling terms.
The answer is right in your own words, no team broke these rules that you say are so easily broken.
They are abiding by the stupid guidelines. Like every other team that wanted to change their uniform

I also find it funny they can't be bothered to go buy the "losangelesrams.com" or "larams.com" URLs.

Current Rams logo (authorized by the NFL), St Louis colors?

At the game the clear popular choice is the blue and marigold colors. Not even close. Compared to the sick blueberry and cosmic golds it was out numbered 50-1. The blue and whites even less than that.

If that is how our new uniforms are going to be chosen, the discussion is over. And I pray to god that is the choice for colors.

Yesterday was awesome at the game.

GO RAMS!!!

I love the blue and yellows.

I love winning much, much more.

As long as they are winning I won't complain about the color of the jerseys.

Great game to attend SWA !! I hope you made it by '63's tailgate. Good times on a beautiful day.

I think the Rams are listening about the colors. They tried to change the uniform to the Ferragamos this year but the NFL allegedly refused.
My guess after reading the bylaws is that they haven't finalized the new uniform design and didn't want to get stuck with that 5 years between changes clause,,, even though Goodell can authorize the change.

@St. Loser Fan is probably correct in that the Rams could have made that a bigger priority for us. I doubt the team realized the gravity of the desire to restore our old Canary Yellow and Royal Blue scheme. But probably not as much as they wanted to hold steadfast with the desire to make a tidal wave sized splash in the new digs with the new uni's too.

I believe that the white helmets and reconfigured pants were in direct response to the LA cry for color change. But that was all they could do without breaking rules or giving concessions. The jersey was untouchable. 5 year thing again.

Either way, I hope Ms. Thiry is in the know.

I don't want to defend the uniform situation but it's not just the bylaws, there's also a contractual relationship with Nike to be considered...

Fine. Get Demoff, Goodell, Jerruh and the highest up at Nike in a meeting. Show them the polls overwhelmingly in favor of the old colors. Show them videos and pictures of the crowds and the 90% wearing royal blue/ canary yellow.

This isn't about 6 game suspensions for a player beating a woman or a star QB ordering his footballs under-inflated to give him an advantage. This isn't about what constitutes a catch or a fumble. This is about laundry and a team's new identity in its old home.
