No, I'm just talking about this particular situation. You put the points on the board to avoid 7-9 bullshit. It wasn't a bad decision, it was the inconsistent kicker that has repeatedly missed FG's throughout the years.

I understand being aggressive but this wasn't the time. If you think your kicker can make it, which I think everyone probably thought he should, you take the points. If you think the rain is too much for him to handle, you can try a hard count(Goff's supposedly good at it) and then punt and pin them deep. That's what an all-world punter is for.
