The Bears kind of put McCarthy in a bit of a tough spot. Seems like the Cowboys asked McCarthy if he wanted to talk to the Bears.

What's he supposed to say? So he said what anybody would expect him to say. He said he'd rather coach the Cowboys.

And then Jerry, who hasn't made a decision on McCarthy yet, said he "certainly doesn't want a coach who doesn't want to be here." If loyalty makes any difference, McCarthy passed that basic little test.

So now watch Jones fire McCarthy anyway. The Bears won't want him now.
