No coincidence the Rams - Colt's swap out. Some owner involved loved that scheme. I'd love the B&W's for our throwbacks and this for our permanent. V V V V

Those colors would be my first choice. Been that way from the 70's through 99. In 2000 they changed and I thought those colors weren't too bad. The dark blue over gold pants I would be my second choice. I don't care for the white pants they're using today. If its all white I'd rather it be like the ones back in the 60's. Helmet included.

Well I looked briefly for a different Ram 28 but didn't find one.

I guess Robert Bailey and Cliff Hicks can get an honorable mention but no question Faulk owns #28, for all time...

There's also Monte Jackson('75-'77)

Who I remember from his trading card but not seeing him play or that he wore #28. I had to look him up.

And Robert Bailey('91-'94)

And Clifford Hicks('87-'90)

And Greg Robinson('95-'96)

And Pat Studstill('68-'70)

Never heard of him but he was a WR/P. Which stands out to me because that will always be something I associate with Pat McInally. I always thought it was such an unusual dual role. Didn't realize there was someone else who did it before him.

I loved Pedro, was still a big Dodgers fan then:

"Okay, Pedro," Lasorda said, "the tying run's on, one out in the ninth. What are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking, don't hit the ball to me," Guerrero said.

"C'mon, Pete," Lasorda chided, "what else are you thinking?"

"You really want to know?"

"Yes."

"I'm thinking," Guerrero said, "don't hit the ball to Sax either."
