I don't think Shane was being deliberately dishonest. I think he truly believed all the articles that he wrote, as evidenced by his off-the-deep-end open letter response to what happened. He says he was lied to by his sources, because what ultimately happened is so vastly different than his interpretation of what his sources were telling him. The most frustrating thing about Shane to me is that it's impossible to get him to see how others view what he writes. He absolutely refuses to accept that he is not objective about anything. He doesn't even see how others could possibly see things that way, he just thinks people disagree with him just to be difficult. He's dug in to his position, and refuses to accept that there is any other way to see things. He didn't do himself any favors with his intractability to see something different than where he's standing and the direction he's looking, because when the owners' vote came, he was unprepared for the result. Hence the extremeness of his emotional response. He can't even see that the open letter was an inappropriate response for a paid writer. STL fans give him kudos for writing the same thing they were feeling, and he feels justified in publishing all that emotional overflow. Good luck with all that.

Did Shane ever hear of the Sunday Ticket? If you are a Rams fan, you're a Rams fan.

ZigZag was always decent about it. So many were turds but the 'Chief' Turd still has to be hokahey.

I agree Ziggy is a good guy and doesn't belong with some of the others we've been talking about but he really made it seem like he knew stuff about the FAA situation:

ZigZagRam at RRF wrote:The FAA issues are being very understated right now. This threatens Inglewood's timeline (despite what a certain local media member wants people to believe) and even the viability of the stadium as whole. I think that will become clearer over the next 60-days.

Definitely not a fabrication.

All I can say is 'stay tuned.' This isn't going away.

What is going on with that FAA business? I haven't heard much in a while.. It kind of,, uh,, 'went away'.

The FAA story was never a real issue. It was easily resolved.
