Do you think that will carry over to actual games? It's easy to "stand out" when nobody is tackling or even trying.

Also, I think everyone on the Rams (and us fans) want Tutu to succeed. I am sure they hoped for big things from him.

I don't see anyone saying anything negative about him right now. If anything, they will go out of their way to try and "build him up" and say they have all the confidence in the world in him.

To say anything Negative about him now would be counter productive to what they want from him.

I think Tutu might have an ego that needs to be "stroked" every now and then to keep him happy.

Always good to take stuff with a grain of salt but one possible scenario here is Tutu is actually impressing Kupp and McVay so far in OTAs.

And with Kupp and McVay you figure that's probably more about having a good grasp of the offense than "oh he made a nice catch" or whatever.

As far as his personality goes, he's young and we did pretty well with OBJ so can't say it bothers me the way it does some of you...

Ramsdude wrote:Is this the kind of response he should putting out there? I'm not talking about the "broken" English but the lack of humility in his tweets makes me think he just doesn't "get it".

A little humbleness would go a long way in getting people to root for him.

Does it really matter what he.tweets? Are the Ram fans who blame him for not having a stellar rookie year going to dislike him less?

Some fans have no problem rooting for him. He wears the horns.

Well most believe there's no chance of that, right?

Ramsdude wrote:We don't need a "poor man's" version of Antonio Brown on our team. We need a "We NOT Me" player and I am not feeling that from Tutu.

Right now I'd bet my bottom dollar his team mates are pulling for him. His tweets aren't aimed at them. They're aimed at the fans who wanted somebody else at 57.

The kid is in a no win situation. He had half of Ramsnation hating on him before he arrived in L.A.. Then after the season even more fans disliked him. Put yourself in his shoes. He's young.

And making decent money playing football.

Dinky dude but he is a blur. If he has hands and route skills, , we're going to have a great stretch/ change of pace guy...

***Matter? No, but it odes reflect on his character.***

Some fans have no problem rooting for him. He wears the horns.

***I am as loyal a Rams fan as anyone and "root" for all Rams players including Tutu but just because I "root" for them doesn't mean they are above criticism or I have to "like" them. For example, Jared Cook was a Ram player but I couldn't even root for that POS.***

***I see what you did there! ;) ***

***He also tweeted that his fans and family were "clowns". I don't think his family cared who we took at 57. I am a fan and I don't care that Tutu was taken at 57. I care that he doesn't seem very good and is quite small and fragile. IMO, his tweets are aimed at anyone who criticizes him and has nothing to with pick 57. ***

***I agree. Tutu has taken a beating by many people which will put more pressure on him to do well and stay healthy. I hope he does do well. Maybe all the heat will put a "chip on his shoulder" and he will work even harder at his craft. Working with Kupp is a good start. ***

Tutu does rhyme with boo-boo.
Ah, , nevermind.

If it wasn't that an awesome C was an option, none of this would be in discussion... imo.
