I'm glad Woods was happy,

He doesn't lose any money,

and the RAMs kept him in the loop...

Allen Robinson, you have some mighty big shoes to fill. Attach yourself to Kupp the minute you land in LA please, young man.

Sad to see him go but this is the right move. Compensation could’ve been better but I think we got what we got because Woods wanted to go there and we obliged.

I’m fine with the move.

Woods didn’t look like a good fit with Stafford before he got hurt. And he had at least as much time as OBJ did to get in sync with him. I guess I don’t get into the emotional stuff that many fans do. I see Woods as an overpriced and superfluous player whose money could be better spent on an area of need. Great guy, solid player, not the best use of money.

I was surprised that no quality team offered at least a 4th round pick for him. Man, big contracts are hard to sell.

This is the thing, if people are concerned about the low compensation. The Rams deferred to Woods's preferences. They traded him to where he wanted to go (out of those teams that were interested), instead of trading him to the highest bidder. It's just a matter of respecting Woods because of what he meant to the team. Woods wanted to go to the Titans, the Titans were making a low bid, Rams went along with it out of respect for Woods.

I'm not fine with it but I understand it if that makes sense. lol

Woods looked fine with Stafford. IMO, it was more a case of Stafford focusing on Kupp too much in the beginning due to not really being comfortable in the system or other WR's yet.

I think they (Did Woods speak up?) made a decision to incorporate Woods more in week 5 against the Shehawks and he responded with 12 for 150.

Also, by the time OBJ got here Stafford was a lot more comfortable in the offense. That's a big difference and advantage for OBJ.

I will miss Bobby Trees because he was a special person on and off the field. He wasn't a diva and excelled at whatever was asked of him. He made so many great players for us to remember!

I am now excited to see what ARob can do in his place. He has BIG shoes to fill but I feel pretty confident he can get the job done!

Yeah I agree, that "Woods didn't work well, mesh or fit with Stafford" is fantasy. Stafford was joined at the hip with Kupp. We've all heard the story.....at the facility at 5 a.m., breakfast and football. It worked well. But to perpetrate a fictional angle like Woods and Stafford didn't work well or mesh or fit is b.s. (or drama). Somebody on another site actually claimed Woods wasn't the right type of WR for Stafford!! :roll2: The guy had 45 receptions in 9 games. VJ had 50. Higs 60. OBJ had 48 in 12 games counting the postseason. The only thing wrong with Woods was he wasn't Kupp!! Or was too much like Kupp!!

If they sign Miller, Woods is still a Ram. Once they grabbed Robinson, they decided they needed RW's money for other things. IMO, anybody who thinks AR is going to get the same targets as Kupp is as delusional as the fans saying Woods didn't mesh with Stafford. He'll be a better RZ receiver than Woods. But he's a possession receiver just like Woods. Just a year younger but 4 years past his ACL injury.

I actually think it'll be better for the Rams based on his potential in the RZ.
