There was nothing new or insider about what max heard and told us about. I appreciate any info he wants to share but this was already on Twitter and a fairly hot topic. Of course people were talking about it at a Rams game.

We all know Stafford plays/played through pain pretty much his entire career. It's part of the deal with him. He's a tough dude. The Rams are, so they say, trying to mitigate some of that.

Max, didn't you start a thread claiming Stafford had elbow surgery? Seems like you might have misheard or misunderstood what his wife had to say? Or did she say surgery?

Problem is, you did not accurately describe what happened. We don't know if the elbow issue was related to Stafford's struggles, and nobody "indicted" max for reporting what he heard.

I know that you're trying to keep the peace, but you need to be honest here. There was NO REASON WHATSOEVER, for max to dredge up this thread, and his sole reason for doing so was that he thought (incorrectly) that he could take a dig at people while vindicating himself (aka the "I told you so" game).

The 'indictment' (probably the wrong word but I'm sure you get it) is obvious. His need to vindicate (dredge up) himself shouldn't be necessary or have been pursued. He obviously felt there was a reason.

As far as inaccuracy, I'm not so sure what I stated is so wrong. I remember when he went to the Jag's game, and he reported what he heard. He was met here with skepticism.

I am not taking a side on this disagreement, and yes, I am trying to keep the peace for the enjoyment of our board. Bickering and subtle innuendo isn't all that enjoyable.

Yes. I saw all those tweets back then. And I took the same view many others here did. We weren't sure how bad things were. Were they just the usual bumps and bruises? And those reports were pretty general. They didn't explicated say the elbow was the major issue. I was told he was getting heavy treatment on the elbow specifically.

The weird thing to me was how when I corroborated what those other reports were saying and going further with the elbow issue, there was the usual push back from the "everything's fine" crowd.

Then came the personal attacks that were cloaked in the don't take this personal routine.

Hey, I don't ever expect to get acknowledgement from certain posters that I had something worthwhile to post whenever its not great news about the Rams. It's just the way they are. Simply posting it for the rational unbiased thoughtful posters.

I went back and confirmed - there is not a single post in this thread prior to your "bumping" that qualifies as a personal attack against you.

There are several posts BY YOU that qualify as thinly-veiled personal attacks, as you have deliberately mischaracterized several posters as being irrational people who can't handle bad news. Again, there are no posts in this thread that support such a characterization.
