For the guy questioning Von Miller’s attitude, I’ll have some of that please.

There is an old adage ( smarten up ramsrams, all adages are, by definition, old) that says the team that gets the best player in a trade wins. We have no idea who the Rams would have picked with those choices, but they sure as hell ain’t gonna be Von Miller, no matter how short his shelf life is.

Interested to see how they deploy Miller and Floyd, as they both usually start at the strong side spot. Not worried about that at all, cuz when you’re good, you’re good. Move em around.

Can’t hurt having a little SB MVP mojo in the locker room.

I am a little confused about the cap implications. So the Broncos are paying $9 million of his salary, which saves Stan that in cash money, but does it really lessen the Rams cap hit? I once thought the cap hit was the cap hit on a contract, no matter the cash machinations. But the Rams would be over the cap right now, if that were true.

Damn, used to be up on that stuff.

For me, the season starts this week.

I heard on TV that if he had left Denver as FA the most they would have recv'd would be a 5th round comp pick because he is a vested 10 yr. vet. So I assume that will apply to Rams also. That stuff is above my pay grade.

Gotta love Kroehnke and the entire organization for doing everything possible for this storied franchise to succeed. First getting them back to L.A. where they belonged, and away from that bad atmosphere is St Louis. It was just 4 yrs or so ago we had to watch opposing teams fans filling up the ED from the season ticket holders selling off their tickets. St Louis days NEVER saw the team going all in like this as their annual draft picks were always their strategy. As a fan who was constantly in disagreement with many of the St louis faithful about ideals and how the team would never win without going all out and bringing in Top players, this is like a parallel universe we're now in-- back in L.A. They're building a culture where the top players want to play for us again with the new stadium and the FO's constant all out effort to go for a Super bowl win again. This fan is extremely grateful to know every year we've got a shot. GO RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I'm not sure about that,,,,

NE got a 3rd round pick in 2021 for Brady leaving as a FA to TB and he is more than a 10yr vet.

There was a guy on the internet who used to predict what teams would receive every year and he was pretty spot on. Though he didn't have the formula (as the NFL has never made that available) he believed it was a combination of salary received, length of deal, games played and performance with the new team. There are probably another item or two and experience might be one of them.

But I'm not concerned with that (though I'm sure the Rams did their due diligence). I only care about how he impacts the Rams and how good he performs. Gotta believe AD, Miller, Floyd & Co. ought to be able to apply ample pressure on opposing QBs.
