That 550 mil relocation fee will change to something else depending on which teams are approved IMO. If it's SK yes it will be 550mil. If it's the Charaiders it will be either reduced or some bullshit stretched out payment plan or some bullshit funds that come from out of someones ass that is imaginary money.

according to Andrew Brandt:
"RAMS ALREADY SCHEDULED TO PLAY IN LA NEXT YEAR"... ???
the statement, that actually took Dan Sileo by surprise, is located between 12:45 and the 13:00 minute marks...
Not much elaboration though

What part of the 13 min. video did he make that Rams comment? I don't really have time to listen to all 13 mins. now. Thanks.

In his statement, he says that for 14 years they've been trying to get something done in SD and that at least 9 proposals they've submitted for a new stadium in SD have been shot down. But, from what little I do know of the situation it's been the opposite. SD keeps coming up with proposals but the Chargers keep turning them down because Spanos only wants a new venue in the downtown area.

Also, I think he's ultimately going to lose the argument if he keeps trying to say that 25% of his fan base is from L.A. So what? If they're actually his fans then they will remain his fans even if the Chargers stay in SD, right? If those fans are going to jump ship if some other team comes along, they weren't really Chargers fans to begin with.

Good point mokler.
And I believe you are correct that he has turned down anything Mission Valley. Some of our SD bro's may be able to shed some more light on this.

it seems to me, that these billionaire owners sitting on these committees must be privy to all of the facts involved. This can't be lost on them unless they are turning a blind eye.
ESK may not have tried as long but he certainly is more effective.
We've all gone over it here but I think the main thing the owners are aware of is how Kroenke was treated by St. Louis.

They didn't live up to the lease, they low-balled at the arbitration, lost arbitration, keep trying to get out of the lease that benefits the owner and have come up with a mediocre stadium plan with a delusional lease and funding plan.

The fans in general and the media rarely seem to talk about any of that when it comes to who "deserves" to move but the owners are well aware of what Kroenke's trying to get away from and how he can solve the 20 year old LA absence. Everything about his plan makes life easy for the league. No re-alignment, league office would reside there, Super Bowls could be played there, it's paid for in-house and without public money(wouldn't the league REALLY get behind this public relations gold?), etc.

As I've postulated from the beginning, I think this has all just been a new variation on the LA leverage game. The Chargers and Raiders are going to get more than they would have a year ago at this time and that's all they've been trying to do. They'll both stay in their respective cities and will be much further along in getting new stadiums than they were.

I went ahead and listened to all 13+ minutes. Brandt was all over the place with his answers/comments. It was a mostly pc interview. The comment was somewhat strange based on the rest of the interview and he didn't expand on that comment. I wish Sileo would've asked him about that comment.

Edit: I guess I missed you comment on where AB made that comment in the video. Thanks.

No worries 82. And no kidding on the "comment". Sileo goes huh! and the interview winds down from there. Perhaps the segment had reached it's time limit. Time to cue the commercial.

I like our chances. Common sense, the right team, the best plan, the most money and the support of the executive branch of the NFL = pro Rams.

If true (Brandt has been at the meetings) Sand Diego and StLoo sure are.
