@LARams_1963

I think you mentioned SCUBA before and I believe you once mentioned retiring in NC so I'm gonna go with #4. 😁

1) My high school Dodge van accumulated over 1,000,000. miles, including 3 engines, 3 colors and 16 transmissions before I sold it
2) I play electric, acoustic & bass guitars, keyboards, ukelele, drums and sing.
3) I've hugged Paul McCartney.
4) I almost crashed on 3 Russian airliners due to mechanical failures.

My guess. #4 seems obvious.

You are correct sir. Only 2 Russian airliners had mechanical failures, not 3.
1) Almost blew up over Leningrad (St Petersberg) due to a fuel leak in the belly of the plane. The entire plane wreaked of jet fuel.
2) If not for an emergency landing in northern Ireland, my plane would have gone down in the Atlantic as 2 of the 3 engines failed just after beginning the ocean crossing.
Aeroflot, not for the faint of heart.

#1 - 16 Transmissions???

The deal with the van is true. I put close to 300K on the 289 motor with a 3 on the tree manual transmission before the head blew. I decided to keep the truck since my buddy Harry owned an salvage yard and got me parts cheap.
We took a 360 engine with an automatic transmission and put it in my van. Literally sawed off the clutch pedal and swapped out the steering column. The good old days.
That trans after about a year developed a hitch so I took it to AAMCO. They said they needed to replace it, so we did for $400. At the time, the 2 brother who owned the joint offered me a lifetime warrantee for an extra $100., so I bought it. I kept that van to another 20 years and it seemed that just about the same time every year that "hitch" reoccurred so I took it back to them and they replaced it for free. 14 free transmissions. lol
Those dudes still own the place.

I once slept with a female boss.

I’m picking #1 just because 2-4 all sound like good stories to ask you about.

I should have given in to my notion of Traversing Cambodia by "yourself" ... Very few if anyone should cross any country all by themselves, at the very least one would need someone with them who knows the terrain, language and dangerous places to avoid.

So you've traversed Cambodia ... but not by yourself.

That one is also true. I’ve traveled and wandered all over by myself.

The most dangerous of those alone adventures being: Rams @Eagles :D

&
@PARAM is correct w #2

I made the reservation for the wrong date to sleep part way up on Mt Olympus, and up and back down is too much for me in one trip.

So I hiked the canyons at the foot instead.
