Why blow one of our 2nd Rounders on a WR, when:

We already have Woods, Kupp and Reynolds....and Nsimba Webster....and the intriguing Greg Dortch on our 2020 roster signed?

We have been told by McVay that there will be more 2 TightEnd Sets in 2020.....ALSO,
there are only so many passed balls to go around in a season, so when we already have the 5 WRs listed above, plus Tyler TheNewGronk Higbee, Gerald YACguy Everett, and TouchDown Johnny Mundt, why spend a high pick on a guy who is gonna watch the Rams 2020 passing game from the sidelines, huh? We have other holes.....ILB, ER, Interior OL, RB, etc.

Finally, everybody is saying that the 2020 NFL Draft is raining stud WRs.....so let's pick one of those WR studs from that 2020 Draft Plethora of WRs later on in the Draft, huh? I do not see the rush to burn a Day Two Pick on a WR.....when we're presently solid at WR already!! :!2:

At #52//#57 we should be able to pick one of the top OCs in the Draft, and/or a stud ER or RB. That's the way I'd approach Day Two.

As always, JMO. :idea2:

Yeah, earlier in this thread I told Pennsylvania that we should have an Easter Truce on arguing.....to which PA wholeheartedly signed-on to! 8-)
So, thanks for buying into our Redeemer Resurrection CeaseFire. :D

So, I keep asking.... if stellar 2020 NFL Draft WR prospects are indeed coming along every five minutes like buses,
why do we want to buy our ticket prematurely on Day Two huh? :?

PLUS....WE HAVE OTHER HOLES!!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:

Also....I will be pizzed-off if McSnead waste a pick on a "Developmental QB"
......we need one of those like we need a sucking chest wound!!! :x

I agree that is my biggest argument, we have bigger holes to fill right now

Well a deep WR class doesn't really mean "they're raining studs". As to why we need a WR it's this. Woods is our #1 and he's under contract through 2021. Kupp is good through 2020 but I'm sure we'll resign him. Reynolds through 2020. Webster? Have you seen him play, I haven't. Not sure what we have there. But contracts aside, what happens if one of those 3 go down in week 3? We need a WR for 2 reasons. Depth and future starter.

On the C you desire, I'm on board with that. But not at #52. There are 5 good centers in this draft. I've read Cushenberry is not suited for a zone running scheme. Whether that's true or not I don't know. Cesar Ruiz may be a G but for us he'd probably be a C. He'll be gone in the first round. Of the three left, Nick Scott is 6'1" and some say, he's too small but I like him a lot. Biadasz, the Rimmington Award winner and Matt Hennessy round it out. FWIW, the most centers taken in the first two rounds of the draft since 2015 was 3 in 2018. I think we'll have a choice to make at #84. Ideally, Snead should sucker somebody to move up 8 or 10 spots in the 2nd for #52 and take a high third off them, as well as another 4th rounder. But if he doesn't I feel pretty safe a good C will be there in the third.

My other hope is we get a RB in the first 3 or an Edge guy, though I'd prefer the RB. We'll see how Snead & Co. have it planned. I'm confident they will satisfy every fan.

C'mon PA.....about our man Nsimba......have a little faith eh!!! ;)

Regarding Nsimba Webster's cache amongst the RamsBraintrust…..

Webster's omnipotent presence was compelling enough for McSnead & Co. to cut loose:
JoJo AlmostDeSeanJackson Natson and
Michael AlmostTheOtherMichaelThomas Thomas

FACT: WR stud UFAs Natson and Thomas were respectively snapped up by the Jets and Bengals faster than you could say "Megatron"!!!! :lol2:

I know I'm probably way off but I want more playmakers. KJ Hamlin is a big play guy. Think Az Hakim or Tyreek Hill. So are Edwards-Helaire and McFarland. Antonio Gibson is said to be a jack of all trades and master of none. I believe under Sean McVay he'd be a star. I'm not foolish enough to think we'd actually take a couple of those guys but one would be great. Then get a C (just so the OL haters will calm down a little :D ;) ... just messing). And some defensive help

As I have posted to PA before, IE. that McSnead will not make the same mistake twice and expose Goff to pressure up the middle like they did last year. It's called "learning from your mistakes".

Yeah, they did re-sign Austin Blythe....
TO A ONE YEAR DEAL! :idea2: What does that tell us about Rams OC plans going forward huh?! :idea2:

So, McSnead will draft some help for 2020 Interior OL.....of that I am pretty sure. Where they draft that help.....which Draft Pick?....I dunno.

So I am not irked by PA's jab regarding his "OL haters" shot :lol2: ......BUT,
I am a tad perturbed by his marginalization of My Man....Nsimba Webster! :idea2:

This kid was a HS QB legend at Antioch CA where he looked like Michael Vick running thru various D's...….just shredding them. Then he goes to Eastern Washington and replaces WR College icon Cooper Kupp. Nsimba has a twin brother who also played at E.Washington…..and for-the-record, Nsimba Webster did return a regular season punt 14 yards and a KO for 30 yards for Los Ramos whilst replacing the injured JoJo Natson…….after he had already shone in PreSeason.

BTW, Webster's ProDay 3-Cone Drill time wudda been WR fastest at the 2019 Combine, had he been invited. :idea2: Oh and finally, when QB Gardner Minshew had his ProDay workout at Washington State...….guess which Eastern Washington WR he asked to drive up and catch his passes for his ProScout Show eh??? Nsimba Webster!!! :idea2: :arrow2: :!2:

The other Rams WR that I really like is Greg Dortch of WakeForest…...I wanted us to draft the WR/PR in 2019. That little guy looks like a natural Slot Guy....very very quick and he's only 21 years old.....although at 5'7" and 175 lbs, he's not gonna be exactly Mike Evans in the RZ for us eh! :|
