so that makes it three years in a row that the rams haven't picked in the first round, interesting... all told, a whopping 7 teams didn't pick in the first round this year, up from 4 teams last year.

Great information compilation norcalramfan!! :idea2: Thanks!

Here's my small contribution.....Picks by Position Totals
QB...3
RB...1
WR..2
TE...2
OT...4
OG...1
OC...1
TOTAL OFFENSE..14 PICKS

DE/ER..5
DT......6
LB.....4
CB.....1
S...….2
TOTAL DEFENSE...18 PICKS

OTHER THOUGHTS....
Biggest Reaches IMHO
Seattle Seahawks on ER LJ Collier of TCU at #29
Green Bay on FS Darrell Savage of Maryland at #21

….and yeah, sometimes OLinemen are overdrafted…...but,
Houston Texans on OT Tytus Howard of Alabama State at #23
Atlanta Falcons on OT Kaleb McGary of Washington Huskies at #31
(like would RAMSNATION have nodded a collective show of approval if Snead and Los Ramos braintrust had plucked Kaleb McGary at #31??!! :roll2: I don't think so.

Also, FWIW Snead outmanoeuvred his old mentor Demitroff in Atlanta as our 2 picks totalled 610 points and the Falcons 2 picks to us totalled 645 points....on first inspection anyways! :idea2:

FYI, ramsrams and I held our Annual TransCanada 2019 NFL Draft telephone hotstove session. Kept cursing collectively when Dexter Lawrence, Jeffrey Simmons, Garrett Bradbury were plucked before our pick at #31.....after those 3 studs were picked and unavailable to Los Ramos, we agreed that a Trade Down would be best for our team. 8-)
No doubt Mr. Snead & Company will be pleased to know that we Canooks complied with his trade down move, eh!! :lol2:

Biggest surprises.....
what off field problems have been found out about AllWorld CBs Byron Murphy & Greedy Williams .....and Florida stud OT Jawaan Taylor??? :?2: :arrow2: :?

Fair amount of gambling talk on whether there would be more or less than 3.5 QBs taken in the first round with most everybody i heard talking about it loving the over, and boom, the under wins.

More RB draft talk:

With four picks today, I wouldn't be shocked to see a "luxury pick" like RB (though not at #45).

We can, and will go many ways, with likely more trades to come.

McVay likes weapons, a shifty back like Hill could be in the mix.

RB is a weird position. On the one hand, Gurley is undeniably great, a legit MVP candidate. OTOH, i still don't put a ton of value on the position. CJ came off the street and did great, look how Conner did in place of Bell. Washington didn't have a feature back while McVay was there they still got a lot out of the position.

So maybe we take a RB tonight. Maybe Gurley continues to be his dominant self. Or maybe something else. I feel like we're gonna get good production out of the position pretty much regardless...

....we will get good production out of the position of RB.....now a caveat...

IF WE HAVE ROBUST OLINE BLOCKING FOR 2019. :idea2:

I hope, that sometime today, Los Ramos WarRoom will address our weakest unit personnel-wise at present, IE. the Rams OLine. :!2: :!2:
