You’re right: my bad. Not sure why I thought he got primaried. Either way his career is over and losing the Rams was a big part of that.

He, Allen (by his mere presence) and Jones had to derail that fix before it took hold. Some of the vitriolic comments and changed voting methods were born from that bs committee.

So it’s St. Louis’ fault Silent Stan was a new owner and couldn’t build a coalition of his own?

Right or wrong Spanos is an old school owner. With seniority comes benefits. That should have entered into the Rams math when trying to get back to LA.

None of my business or yours really. Go back and read that contract again. It was put in there The Rams could by it for that amount by 2024. Again the blame lays on the political leaders that drafted that contract. He probably will renovate the property with a business that will create jobs, and generate money for the STL community due to that business. So again blame the leaders of STL that drafted the contract. I highly doubt anyone would just walk away from a deal where they could take a property, build a new business on it, create jobs, and all that. But just to indulge you, Yes he should be allowed to get it for that amount. Not his problem or fault the leaders of STL were that stupid to draft a deal like that.

I also wonder if there was some resentment towards Jerry Jones and the Rams deal because the other owners knew he was going to get the concessions contract and PSL sales?

I was back in St. Louis a couple weeks ago. My first time there not to see a Rams game.

Loved it. Mostly hung out in what I was told was the Hood. A place by a biker bar, an old warehouse by where the stadium would have been.

No one cares. It didn’t happen. People move on.
