The noise difference sounded pretty big on tv, and I read an article today where Whit (I think it was Whit anyway) said the crowd threw them off early because they really didn't expect it to be so heavily slanted to the Pats. The writer of the article estimated at least 70% of the crowd were Pats fans. I will continue to foolishly talk sh*t about random players because they get better IMMEDIATELY after I do!! More and more folks keep jumping on. It's fun to pull for the winner. And it's less than a 3 hr flight to the ATL. Let's see how many stick around after the TB-BB combo calls it quits. On the other hand, the Rams have been terrible for a long time and living in 'flyoverville' St Louis. Off the radar on both counts.Sure they moved back to LA and are rekindling the passion here but 2 successful seasons does not a fan base make. Long trip to the east and fewer diehard (or even bandwagon) fans to buy the tickets and make the trek. It makes sense. Then throw in the NOLA caper and I can see the fans leaning heavily towards the Patsies. GO RAMS !!! GO DODGERS !!! Dang nab it!So anyways, in short,We had a great time with many. Epic really. The whole ref blowing the call with NOLA was a big distraction. The NFL screwed that up leaving it on the Rams shoulders. It was our game to lose and just was too big for Goff and McVay. Experience will do wonders for those two.Gurley is fine.
