Maybe Jared can learn to play 8 man football. He can throw the ball, catch it and maybe play a little defense too. 1 by Elvis 5 years 11 months ago Total posts: 40094 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: NFC Championship Game: Rams @Saints POST #53 Welcome abaord PAC12! I think he leans on him when we are playing a high scoring team. Minnesota, New Orleans, Kansas City, etc.. I think he learned something in Chicago. That game was never out of reach and we ran just 13 times. You might say, "what did he learn? we ran just 18 times against Philly" but Gurley missed huge chunks of that game late. We might have to score 30 but we might only need 24/27 if we can pressure Brees and get a takeaway or two. Fowler needs to come up big and the entire DL has to get their hands up. As far as motivation as underdogs, if those guys need motivation for a game to see who plays in the Superbowl, we might as well stay in L.A.. Run the ball, play good D, use that play action. Easy right? Here's a question.....we win the toss.....do we defer or take the ball and try to silence the crowd early? Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. Saying that our defense is bad isnt a hot take. Should i put a disclaimer before every post saying that i still root and hope and wish the Rams win as to not sound like i've forfeited this game already. Saying our defense is bad isn’t a hot take it’s a bad take. Sure, they’re not great, but they certainly aren’t bad. They held Elliot in check all game. It’s the playoffs. Guys like Suh and Talib raised their games. The Eagles D was decimated by injuries during the game, and the Saints only put up 20 points. Here’s what the Saints put up the last 6 weeks...1028 12 31 14 20So they’ve been averaging 19 points/game over their last 6 games. ~ max ~“The consciousness of good intentions disdains ambiguity.” - Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers 1 by PARAM 5 years 11 months ago Total posts: 12683 Joined: Jul 15 2015 Just far enough North of Philadelphia Hall of Fame NFC Championship Game: Rams @Saints POST #57 On the thought McVay has lost confidence in Goff, I disagree. It's strange that Goff gets the blame when things go wrong, but rarely gets any credit from some Rams fans when things go right. 1 by fletch59 5 years 11 months ago Total posts: 114 Joined: Apr 05 2017 LA Coliseum Practice Squad NFC Championship Game: Rams @Saints POST #60 azramsfan93 liked this post Everybody has hit on it, limit Thomas, tackle well and run the rock. 2 outta 3 on the D.So add in Goff, Woods and Cook.
