Two, as much as I love Gurley, IMO, a team needs the QB to be the unquestioned leader and winning a game without Gurley in the lineup would do wonders for Goff IMO. Maybe even McVay. While the Rams are in desperate need of a win and should get one at all costs this Sunday, there is a wonderful opportunity here to improve the team.

I would sit Gurley, go out and just put in a workman like day and beat a spiraling Cardinals team that has packed it in. Get the newly acquired CJ Anderson some work, let Goff and the passing game carry the offense and learn how to get the win without Gurley in there.

Agreed! The talent difference between these two teams is huge. We should be able to beat them without TG. Make them put on their big boy pants and put the Cardinals out of their misery by simply out playing them with "basic football". No need to get cute with the play calls on O or D. Just man up and beat the guy in front of you!

Losing Brown was a lot bigger than I originally thought.

There is no way Gurley would be playing Sunday and next Sunday if Brown was ok.

Without Gurley, we are totally one dimensional. The Cards will be teeing off on Goff all game long. So if Gurley can play, he will.

I was very disappointed to hear Farr say Kelly is lost out there and doesn’t belong on the field. Davis is hurt. So unless Gurley plays, we’re going to play Anderson. That’s very bad.

Anderson was a thousand yard rusher last season. I don't know a lot about him but at 5'8' 225 pounds he seems likely to be more of a power rusher like Brown. Not sure why he was cut by two teams. He's only 27 years old. Is there an injury concern or locker room concern?

Not sure about injuries, but when he was with the Broncos CJ was known as a stand-up guy and a positive force in the locker room. Here's an article from last year that shows how much he cared about doing his best for his teammates:

He looked bad this year. Can’t expect to plug him in off the street knowing nothing about our offense and expect decent result this week. Maybe he can pass block.

REST TODD!!!! Plz.

We gotta be smart about this. Zona is beatable without him. The thing about inflammation is that immobility reduces it. Science!!!! Give his knee the rest it needs and then have him go against the Niners so that he doesn't accumulate rust AND we need him against them too. They are playing good football and we'll need to score against them as there is no chance our defense keeps them to 10pts.

Rest - Niners - Rest - Playoffs

If CJ is no good then I know of a dude who might have 10-15 carries left in him.

I don’t know if Todd Gurley is going to play but @MylesASimmons does and I know he’s just waiting for fantasy owners to tweet at him!

I'm thinking Gurley isn't gonna go but who knows? Also, like i said earlier, Rams don't think Kelly is ready...

Pretty sad commentary on Kelly, RB is probably the "easiest" skill position for a rookie to step in to.
