I wouldn't worry too much if we let him walk. Offer him a team friendly deal and if he says no its ok. Sure giving up the draft pick for him last season will sting a bit but Sammy has shown he's not the type of undisputed number 1 that we have to bring back at all costs.

I think we will see more TE play from Sean Mcvay this season than last season and along with Cooper Kupp's maturation, bit more work for Woods and Reynolds and I think his loss can be mitigated.

I would try to find a stud WR in the draft.

Yeah the draft would be more cost-effective and that way we could pay Donald and go after another DT / DE like Poe or Suh.
