Unless his knee was already down before that shot was snapped. Hard to tell. That Cam kid is strong.

The pylon is out of bounds so touching it at all should be too. Odd.

Great post.

What I find annoying, outside of the rules that dont seem to make any sense, is that modern technology could easily clarify out of bounds and breaking the plane. Tennis gets it right with their replay, because its cut and dry. Use the same technology and the results will be the same

Good thing Fisher is no longer on the Competition Committee .... and maybe because of the Rams game, this rule will be reconsidered. It was a bullshit call against the Rams.

We (minus me) can somewhat blame the Raiders 25-yard fumble into the end zone and their Holy Roller game for this.

The current rule is set up to punish the Raiders from manipulating the rules, not the Rams

The more I see it, the worse it looks...
The Jets game that is.
Other than feeding the Patriots conspiracy theorists, how could they make that call?
Gurley's play was bullshit, but more because of the rule itself.
I still cant see how they over turned the Jets play.
There is no way the ball touched the pylon, so how was it not at worst a fumble OB on the 1 foot line??
