I was hoping the Bradford debate would stop now that he's gone. I guess thats a legend that will go on for a long time. We could probably substitute religion or politics for Bradford and get a similar passionate debate on both sides.

As for me, he's no longer a Ram. Foles is. I will pulling for Foles to put it together and play more like the first game than the last one. That was a stinker for more than just the QB. His line just couldn't open holes for the running game, which will make it hard for the passing game.

Foles can be good, but he's not elite. They gotta give him help. Establish the run. I hope Gurley is all they said he is. Doesn't look like he'll get much help from his blockers.

Wouldn't hurt if the receivers got open on occasion. Seems like thats been a problem for a long time and it doesn't look like its improving. And why is Quick a healthy scratch?

honestly, those who continue to make excuses for sam, even after watching his last two games in philly, remind me of the small town mayor in jaws, vaughn, trying desperately to convince everyone that the beaches are safe, that there isn't a shark problem, despite the mangled torso of the girl that washed ashore, despite the fisherman found chomped to bits in his submerged, destroyed boat, it's truly amazing.

Hooper: Look Mr. Vaughn. I pulled a tooth the size of a shot glass out of the wreck tow of a boat out there and it was the tooth of a Great White.

Vaughn: And what did you say the name of this shark is?

Hooper: It's a Carcharodon Carcharias. It's a Great White!

Vaughn: But you, you don't have the tooth.

Vaughn: I don't think either one of you are familiar with our problems!

Hooper: Uh, I think that I am familiar the fact that you are going to ignore this particular problem until it swims up and bites you in the ass!

Hooper: There are two ways to deal with this problem. You either gonna kill this animal or your gonna cut off its food supply.

Martin: Larry we have to close the beaches.

Hooper: Mr. Vaughn, what we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, ah, an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks. And that's all. Now why don't you take a long close look at this sign. Those proportions are correct.

Vaughn: Love to prove that wouldn't ya? Get your name into the National Geographic!

Hooper: Ha ha ha ha ha.

Vaughn: August? For Christ's sake tomorrow is the fourth of July! And we will be open for business. It's gonna be one of the best summer we ever had!

@snackdaddy. Foles is our QB. I am all in on him.

But the Bradford issue was so long and so painful that I still can't help wanting to see what happens with him. Agree 100% that he is as divisive a topic as both religion and politics to Rams fans.

i think it could also be argued that with foles missing so badly on his passes, when pressured and when not, it hurt the running game, the passing game was a mess, and became a dink and dunk affair (foles only threw 6 passes beyond 10 yards, 80% under, which is very un-foles like) which didn't do the running game any favors imo... anyway, i agree, it was a stinkfest on both sides of the ball...

College roommates, Bradford lobbied Murray to come to the Eagles.

I will say this, if Bradford and the Eagles offense get it together, gonna be a hell of a story 'cause they're both pretty much at rock bottom now.

And more former Rams offensive firepower is on the way:

Eagles sign QB Thaddeus Lewis, release Stephen Morris
September 21, 2015, 4:30 pm

The Eagles flip-flopped third-string quarterbacks Monday, releasing Stephen Morris and signing Thaddeus Lewis.

Morris signed with the Eagles 15 days ago, one day after they released Tim Tebow.

Lewis, 30, has had stints with the Rams, Browns, Lions, Bills and Texans in his six NFL seasons.

Lewis spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons with the Browns, where his head coach was current Eagles offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur.

He’s started six games in his career, winning two, one with the Browns in 2012 and five with the Bills in 2013.

In seven career games, Lewis has completed 115 of 189 pass attempts for 1,296 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions.

He was with the Texans last year but didn’t play.

Morris, a former Miami of Florida quarterback, was inactive for both games so far this year.

The Eagles also swapped practice squad tight ends, releasing Connor Hamlett and signing Chris Pantale.

Hamlett had just joined the Eagles’ practice squad on Wednesday. He previously spent time this offseason with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.

Pantale, a graduate of Wayne Valley High School in New Jersey, is in his third year out of Boston College and has had stints previously with the Bears and Jets. He was at B.C. along with Ryan Day, currently the Eagles’ quarterbacks coach.
