In his presser, McVay alluded to perhaps looking outside for a LT. Makes me wonder if they might be looking at Riley Reiff who played alongside Jackson and blocked for Stafford. I believe he's an unsigned FA.

His familiarity with Jackson and Stafford would make sense. Someone to simply finish out the season. His last decent season was a few years ago so his age is showing. But he would be a better option than Arcuri at this point. Who knows what kind of shape Alaric will return in. He was off and on battling dings in TC from what I hear. It would at least buy them time to let Noteboom heal up. I think they don't expect Noteboom to be ready until after the bye week which comes early and might be a blessing in disguise for this banged up team.

What will be the difference will be what kind of shape they think Alaric will be in when he returns. The fact they are even contemplating signing someone is hardly a vote of confidence and makes me more convinced Alaric will be looked at as a potential future comp pick.

If they don’t bring someone in who they can plug in immediately, they might try McClendon. But damn he is just not that athletic, as I think Daee said - heavy footed, and when his technique goes, he’s a waist bender. All of which make you more of a RT then LT to begin with. But what the hell are our options??? Scheme it up to help thy the guy I guess.

Copy that. Sure seems snake bit at the moment. Can only watch how they respond. To get 2 wins going into the bye might be a minor miracle at this point.

We face 2 elite defenses with SF and Chicago, and a very good one with GB.

I hope they go outside to get a LT. Seeing both our OTs purposely tripping Lion pass rushers had me laughing and crying at the same time.

I guess it's Groundhog Day. Instead of Kupp, it's Nacua and Kupp is playing like a rookie...in a great way but once again entering Week 2 is it possible our entire starting Oline is OUT??

I've been told Limmer can play every position on the Oline. Can you play LT ?? No amount of practice is going to get Acuri or McClendon ready. If we can get a W in the desert and get AJ, Havs, Dotson, and Jackson back by SF with Limmer at C.....maybe....

Stafford is understandably getting happy feet and we can't throw the ball beyond 7 yards.

Feels way too much like 2023. Every team has a Hutch, Verse, Parsons, Garrett and we either go 12 man with 6-7 blockers or get Stafford and our WRs killed. We'll just have to dig ourselves out from the hole hoping it doesn't get too freakin' deep this time.

Cobie Durant - either he or Tre White was pulled for one of the rookie CBs. In fact both Wallace and Woods got snaps. Not sure if that was vet injury or vet performance based.

Dotson - also doesn’t look right, started the game with a guardian cap on
TE - Davis inactive, back.

A Jax back next week. And that’s about it.
Won’t have Avila or Nacua until probably November and it could be too late by then.
