I'm a big fan of building from the inside out, and there was no doubt that we needed to.
As far as GRob's #2 slot, that's up there with SB at #1. 2 guys that haven't worked out as expected.
Last years QB class seemed somewhat unimpressive, but those names you mentioned (esp Carr) would give us a far better chance at more W's now.

I just watched the video. Wentz will owe WR Sheppard some cash and thank you' if Wentz is a top ten pick. His WR made some incredible catches. Maybe the Rams should be looking at Sheppard?

My take on the QB-
Cook is a wasted pick, played behind a top o-line for 3 years and rarely faced pass rush. Still was wildly inaccurate. I've seen plenty of his games and he misses way too many throws. Head scratcher type misses. Comp % went down each year. When he faced pass rush against Alabama, he was completely ineffective. Now he has character issues as well? Good grief, no thanks

Goff or Wentz I would trade the farm to get a shot at one of them. To move up from 15 would likely cost at least 2 1st rounders, at least 1 of our 2nd rounders this year and then anther value pick, say a 2nd or 3rd next year.

With Wentz, you cant go off his stats, they don't jump off the page because he wasn't in a spread where he threw 40+ per game.

Agreed dieter. Apples and Oranges. I wonder if Wentz could have thrived in the spread O for 3 consecutive seasons as Goff did? Goff's TD to INT ratio is 2013 Foles-esque. Quite impressive. He is smaller though and I wonder how his game translates in the pros.
Not a Connor Cook fan.
