Falcons hire Rams assistant Lake as DC.

The robbery of the Rams staff continues. At least it wasn't Pleasant that Raheem took or maybe Lake is better. I just hope the Rams stop the bleeding soon.

Morris has an old connection with Lake.

He was with Morris in 2010-11 as a DB coach at Tampa. Lake was the head coach of Washington from 2020-21 until he was fired for pushing one of his own players to break up an alteraction on the sideline. He was out of football in 2022 and apparently at Morris’s behest the Rams brought him on in 2023. With the Rams he was officially the "Assistant Head Coach" but that looks like it was just a vague title and that basically, he just worked with Morris on defense. We really don't know what he did but odds are it was at the film study/strategy/tactics/defensive game planning level, he wasn't a position coach.

So now he’s Morris’s DC in Atlanta.

Congrats To Raheem Morris. One of my favorite Coaches. And he was great for us. He won us a Super Bowl. Hes a champion. And it’s about damn time. He’s back in the A.


It’s gonna be hard to replace him. But I hope they replace him with Brandon Stayley. I want us to hire him. I want us to play fast on defense and I think he will definitely have our guys playing fast.

Drafting Kool-Aid and having him with Stayley him teaching him what he taught Ramsey will be huge.
