Didn't realized how even the sack distribution is along the DL!

Some of the worst edge play I've seen in a long time. Young and Hoecht show nothing.

Man, the Rams sure aren't very good at doing the "tanking" thing. It's like they have no clue how to do it.

On the bright side, I'm starting to warm up to whathizzname, that Nuka Pakua guy. Turns out he's not that bad.

They got 2 sacks at the end to close it out. They can’t get pressure against balanced teams with good OLs. A lot of teams can’t. But, if they can play with a lead they can get some things done. It will only improve from here folks. And we might even make the playoffs along the way!!

My game Assessment:

Lets start with the OL on offense.

No sacks allowed. only two QB hits.

Outstanding by our OL.

Now, let's get to our Skill players.

My game ball goes to Puka Nacua!!!

That pass catch for 70yd TD was outstanding.

To say he doesn't have any speed,

You better go check out that play again to show his speed!!! :D

105 yds/Rec & 34yds/run,

He should have had more running yds, but there was a bogus holding call.

Robinson & Kupp each with a TD

Stafford had some nice throws:

37/ATT 22/Comp for 59% 279yds 3/TD 0/INT 110.1 passer rating

The Rams offense play against the top Defensive team in the League,
only giving up 260yds/gm, but the Rams total was 399yds.

The Defense:
They started off slow by giving up that big play on the first series for a TD,
But settle in after that.

The RAMs DL only giving up 87yds on the ground.

Stats: 2 sacks, 5/TFL, 5 QB Hits, 1/INT 1/Safety

D players that I should name are:
AD, Turner, J. Johnson,

Outstanding Game by the RAMs!!!!!

Funny how games rarely are what you think they might be.

Cleveland was not a dominant defense that the Rams had to scratch and claw, play it safe, play in fear, figure out a way to move the ball against.

Cleveland didn't play very much shell with two deep safeties that has become so common in the league and especially against the Rams. The Rams took that opportunity to attack and had a lot of success with a lot of big plays, a lot more than we've seen recently anyway. I tried to pay attention and just about every time Cleveland had only 1 safety deep, the Rams threw the ball, mostly with success.

Not being the game i expected was true on the other side of the ball as well. Cleveland's offense was not garbage. They moved the ball well pretty consistently. It continues to amaze me how the defense often doesn't look very good but when you look up at the scoreboard, they're not giving up a lot of points.

Not sure that will hold up against good offenses but not sure it won't either.

And if Kupp can become his usual self again, holy cow.

That Puka Nacua guy is pretty good, surprisingly fast on top of everything else he does right...

I think the thing about Puka is, once he has the ball in his hand he plays violent. He pours everything he’s got into it.

There’s this hand off jet sweep thing where he runs along the sideline and I swear you can see Kupp on camera desperate to keep up with him, gassed. Thing is, I think Kupp was supposed to block for him, but he just takes off through 3 defenders along the sideline leaving Kupp in the dust.

Kupp is not 100, I hope he gets there…

Kupp hasn't been "himself" in almost 2 years. I hope he can get back there but so far he's not "that guy". As for the team...I'm on the record on a few occasions saying this team had no chance for anything other than winning the Caleb bowl. I now think making the show is entirely possible. Really glad I was wrong. It looks like 3 more wins should do it. Doubt they will come against Baltimore or SF but the Saints, Commanders, and Giants are certainly beatable.
