There seems to be a lot of negative things said about this guy online; he's a problem in the locker room, he's not a leader, he's just a shell of what he used to be, etc. This is going to be interesting. I hope they aren't planning to shelve Stafford for the rest of the year. It's time to win NOW!

This signing says the opposite. Stafford will play and hopefully stay healthy while Wentz learns and hopefully only a spot start or in mop up time.

I haven't heard about the locker room thing. But there is a perception around the league that he's difficult to coach. Wants to do things his way. And he puts his body at risk with reckless play. No surprise he's had his share of injuries.

Hopefully he's had time to reflect and can learn to be a team player. With our line Stafford may be missing more than one game over the next couple months.

It would be great to get a win or two out of him if needed.

at that price, I wonder why the Raiders declined to make him an offer?

That goes all the way back to Philly. A vet (Malcolm Jenkins???) left and commented on Wentz being a problem. Something like "its all about him; he's not well liked; divides the locker room". I think he was liked by some offensive players though. Or at least a few came to his defense.

Water under the proverbial bridge. New team, new opportunity. Hopefully some humility.

Def scuttlebutt about locker room stuff, its out there from every team he has played for, but sitting on the couch has a way of humbling you.

That shit won’t fly in this locker room. AD will shut that shit down with a quickness. As will Staff and Havs.

I'm not sure it flew in the last locker room.

Multiple personalities exist in almost every atmosphere. No doubt they exist in NFL locker rooms.

The fact that players came to his defense just emphasizes that.

Nobody is above the "Team".

I'm sure Wentz gets that. This is a non story that may have helped the Rams find a much better backup QB for pennies. 8-)

I'm sure you don't believe everything you read.

His play on the feild is way above what the Rams currently have behind Stafford.

No need to be humbled. Show up, put in the work and prove you still have the talent that got you selected #2 overall.
