Ok. So MCV now should have Kupp to add to the game plan. It’s gonna be hard for him to stick with the run. Not only due to Kupp added. But, the eagles D is very good against the run 3.4 or so/carry. But their secondary is playing like hot garbage - against WRs AND TEs. The issue, as always, the OL against their very very good front/rush. If MCV can scheme Staff time (boots, roll outs, misdirection play-action) #9 should be able to shred this secondary. Have to run enough and keep the score close to keep that pass rush from anticipating. Would be a great game for our screen game to come alive also.

Good stuff, this game is def going to be won/lost in the trenches.

The Rams o-line in particular will be tested to protect Staff and open some holes for Kyren/Ronnie. Rams cant afford to get in a drop back game against this line.

Rams run defense will be severely tested in this one. They need to bottle up the run and not net the Eagles get many explosive plays in the pass game.

I feel the Rams OL can handle the Eagle's DL,
reason being: we were going up against the 9ers DL,
they have an outstanding front seven and we held up pretty good,
the reason why we lost that game was the two TO.

If we stay TO free, I give us a great chance in beating the Eagles.

I trust our OL in protecting Staff or opening up holds for our RBs,
whether its LT/AJ and RG/Noteboom or LT/Noteboom & RG/Dotson.
Hopefully its the its AJ & Noteboom,
that way just in case of an injury during the game,
we would have Dotson coming off the bench.

The Rams are going to need to stick with the run and have some success with it to win this game.

I hear what you are saying and I hope you are right, but a couple things.

1. Yes it s good sign that the line did well against the niners, but IMO the niners defense has underperformed under Wilks.

2. The eagles run defense could force us into more 2nd and 3rd and longs, hence more obvious passing downs which can lead to pass protection problems.

I feel like Noteboom has played like crap, whether at G or T. Give me AJ and Dotson.
