Bobby Wagner signed a 5 year, $50,000,000 contract with the Los Angeles Rams, including a $5,000,000 signing bonus, $12,500,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $10,000,000. In 2022, Wagner will earn a base salary of $1,500,000 and a signing bonus of $5,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $2,500,000 and a dead cap value of $10,000,000.

Thanks for posting this. Pretty much confirmed my expectations - the Rams can even get out of this contract next year with a $4.5 million cap savings ($12 mil cap hit next year vs. $7.5 mil dead money if released). If he plays 3 years, the contract works out to a 3 yr, $28.5 mil contract with $2 mil dead cap in 2025. A little more than I expected ($9.5 mil/year vs. $8 mil/year) but not too bad.

His incentives are (I think the Rams would happily pay these out)
- Annual $2M incentives: 90% defensive snaps + postseason berth + Rams are Top 5 in net points allowed, net yards allowed, & net passing yards allowed per passing play
- 1st Team All-Pro: $1M
- Pro Bowl (original ballot) + team improves its defensive ranking in total net yards allowed, or net yards allowed per passing play: $500,000

I was wondering about the number. Didn't think Floyd would give it up, nor should he. 45 is fitting. Somebody said "if Robinson takes #15, he'll be AR15". Well, you want your middle linebacker to hit with the power of a .45.

If I'm reading this right.

The RAMs are only on the hook for three years.

Low cap hit for this year
